  Viking #1 : My lord, have you forgotten? That portal is guarded by monsters that...

  Viking Captain : [he grabs his crew-mate by the neck]  Enough! I'd slay a dozen monsters for the treasure spoken of in this journal. Just as I'd slay you!

  Viking #1 : I'm sorry. I was mistaken!

  Viking Captain : Coward!

  [he lets go of his crew-mate's neck] 

  Viking Captain : Sail on!

  Viking #2 : The storm is blowing harder, Captain!

  Viking Captain : Row, you dogs! Put your backs into it!

  Viking #3 : [an aquatic being jumps from the waves]  What in the name of Odin was that?

  Viking #4 : A sea monster!

  Viking Captain : It can't be. Hold steady, men.

  Viking #3 : [They see the creature]  Is it a whale? Is it a sea devil? Where did it go?

  Viking #5 : Can you see it?

  Viking #4 : It's gone!

  Viking #5 : [the creature's tentacles pop out, assault the boat and take the crew-members]  We're doomed!

  Viking #6 : Save yourselves!

  Viking Captain : I've seen worse. Come back, you cowards!

  [Some of the tentacles get sliced off by the captain] 

  Viking Captain : Do your worst!

  [the tentacles retract and the boat gets destroyed from an explosion. The Shepherd's Journal lands in the water]
