Received an HD remaster: Resident Evil Zero HD Remaster (2016), for the PlayStation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC on January 19th, 2016. This version features 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratio support, high resolution visuals, redone textures and character models, new alternate costumes options for both Rebecca and Billy, improved lighting, and updated controller options.
This is the first Resident Evil not to have the item boxes for storing items away.
Originally planned for release on the Nintendo 64 console, Resident Evil Zero was going to be released in the Fall/Winter of 2000, but production shifted to the Nintendo GameCube sometime in early 2001.
The game contains a mini game called Leech Hunter after completing the game. It's where Rebecca and Billy team up and collect blue leech charms (Billy) and green leech charms (Rebecca).
There are a few gameplay differences between Rebecca and Billy. Only she can mix chemicals and herbs, but Billy is the only one able to use a lighter and push heavy objects. He is also more resistant to damages and can shoot better than her.
