According to a new report from the folks over at Soapcentral, the Bold and The Beautiful crew is currently recasting a pretty popular main male character with former General Hospital Jasper "Jax" Jacks star Ingo Rademacher (above). He's being brought on to play character Thorne Forrester. Apparently, he was in the running against former Thorne actor Winsor Harmon. Winsor recently hopped on his official Twitter account to reveal that he had been replaced. He said that The Bold And The Beautiful executive producer/head writer Bradley Bell told him that they had decided to recast Thorne. This apparently didn't go over well with a lot of fans since Winsor had been playing the Thorne role since 1996. Winsor wrote, "Just spoke with Brad Bell and at this time he's decided to Recast Thorne. I wish the new actor and the show continued success." Rademacher talked to TVInsider.com about his Thorne...

According to reports, Brit actor Russell Tovey aka 'Midshipman Frame' from "Doctor Who", will voice DC Comics' 1941 superhero 'The Ray' in the CW Seed animated series "Freedom Fighters: The Ray", followed by a live-action take in The CW's 'Arrowverse', as a 'gay' superhero, fulfilling producer Greg Berlanti's mission (?!) to step up 'Lgbt' themes in all of his TV series:
"Raymond 'Ray' Terrill was a reporter who discovered a group of government scientists...
"...working on a secret project to turn light into a weapon of mass destruction.
"But before he could report on his findings, the project head exposed Ray to a 'genetic light bomb.'
"The bomb failing to kill Ray, gifted him with light-based powers.
"With these abilities, Ray realized he could go beyond reporting on injustice — he could take action to help stop it.
"Calling himself 'The Ray', he was recruited by the 'Freedom Fighters' to fight 'oppression' wherever it exists.

The Mystery of Why Top TV Producers Shonda Rhimes, Greg Berlanti and Chuck Lorre Haven’t Won an Emmy
Shonda Rhimes, Chuck Lorre and Greg Berlanti are easily the most powerful producers on TV. Yet none of them have ever won a Primetime Emmy.
Ten years ago, that might not have been the case. But Rhimes, Lorre and Berlanti produce populist fare for (mostly) broadcast networks, at a time when those shows are no longer on the Emmy radar.
In 2016, the broadcasters were shut out of the top Emmy categories for the first time in the award’s history. Never before had the top drama, comedy and actor and actress prizes gone exclusively to cable and streaming services.
But last year’s results were the culmination of a trend that began when “The Sopranos” star Edie Falco won the Emmy in 1999 for Outstanding Drama actress. By 2001, HBO had grabbed the first outstanding series prize for a cable series (“Sex and the City”), as well as both top drama acting...

Comic Books 101: DC Rebirth Review 2017!
DC Comics had an overall week ending to their New 52 run. Many of the series just petered out, with only a few having any significant sendoff (Batman, Jla, Superman. Marvel was killing them in sales, and only the core titles ever broke the top 10. Then it all changed, DC made a bold announcement to once again “rework” their line up and in continuity world. They announced is DC Rebirth (You can see the lead up to DC Rebirth in my article here DC Comics Then And Now) an attempt to “get back to basics” for many of their characters. New creative teams, no visions for their books, and less crossovers! Phase 1 of the relaunch so far has been a huge success, the months of June-August were predominantly DC books in the top sales, and many fans have enjoyed the new stories regarding their favorite characters.

With San Diego Comic-Con kicking off in just a matter of days, we should all brace ourselves for an onslaught of news that only this time of year can bring. According to Bleeding Cool, they’ve heard some rumblings concerning not only ill-fated fan favorite Constantine, but also characters such as Batwoman and Oracle, which should excite many a fan.
Let’s start off with what I find to be the most intriguing: Batwoman/Kate Kane may have a recurring role this season when Supergirl makes its way to The CW. With Maggie Sawyer joining the show, it makes sense that her ex-girlfriend pop in to National City from time to time. I fully admit that even I would have previously thought the inclusion of a Batman Family character of this magnitude to be impossible, but with Superman putting in a few appearances at the start of Season 2, the door...

Based on a true-ish, larger-than-life story, Elvis & Nixon sounds like a fabricated clash of public icons, but I assure you this craziness actually happened (karate chops and all?). In 1970, Elvis drove up to the White House, knocked on the door, and demanded a pow-wow with President Nixon. A conversation was had and Elvis was bestowed a power some lawmakers forgot even existed. It’s an obscure, influential, and epic moment from America’s past, begging for a cinematic retelling, yet we feel none of the importance that director Liza Johnson strives to deliver. This swanky 70s time machine dresses the part and talks the talk, but fails to honor such patriotic prestige with a story truly deserving of such Mt. Rushmore-worthy weirdness.
Shannon stars as the hand-waving, self-proclaimed “King” who needs no introduction – Elvis Presley. His musicianship is the stuff of legends, but this isn’t a movie about making albums and dealing with stardom.

On September 22, 1989, the boob tube finally lived up to its name."Baywatch" landed on NBC on this date 25 years ago, bringing Pamela Anderson's bouncing body to the masses like never before, thanks to slow-mo runs down the beach and one of those famous red swimsuits. While the show only lasted one season in primetime, David Hasselhoff pushed for a syndication deal which extended its run for another 10 seasons -- introducing the world to the hot bodies of David Chokachi, Gena Lee Nolin, Donna D'Errico, David Charvet and many, many more.To celebrate the show's 25th anniversary, toofab tracked down a few of the show's biggest stars to take a look back at its legacy and share some secrets from behind the scenes. Later this week we'll post interviews with Nicole Eggert, Alexandra Paul, Kelly Packard and Jaason Simmons, who all spilled some great set stories. But first, to kick things off,...

Last week, the new CW series Arrow premiered to solid ratings from viewers who were more than likely just as curious to see the Green Arrow TV adaptation as much as they were about star Stephen Amell’s much-talked about (and showcased) body.

Featured in our roundtable are Laura Prudom (Associate TV Editor, HuffPost TV), Craig Byrne (webmaster/editor, KsiteTV.com & GreenArrowTV.com), Damian Holbrook (Senior Writer, TV Guide Magazine), Lauren Dimascio (Contributing TV Editor, Celebuzz.com) and our own Jim Halterman.

Heralded by a laugh-out-loud trailer that painted it as the kookiest comedy of the year, Tim Burton's Dark Shadows (2012, Warner, 12) arrived in cinemas as a head-scratchingly weird mess of a movie more notable for its deadpan drollery and bizarre tonal shifts than for the advertised rib-tickling kitsch. Based on an arcane TV show little known here in the UK, this casts Johnny Depp as 18th-century vampire Barnabas Collins, escaping centuries of entombment to reclaim his now ruined family estate in the cultural void of 1972.
Faced with rebellious teens, garish wardrobes and "tiny songstrels" hiding within television sets, Barnabas attempts to reassert his authority over Eva Green's witchy temptress, with the help of Michelle Pfeiffer's haughty matriarch, Helena Bonham Carter's sozzled shrink and an apparently ageless Alice Cooper. Sometimes a little wrath can be a lot of a good thing.
The 2010 remake of "Clash of the Titans" knocked the 3-D glasses right off our faces, and from the looks of the trailer, the monsters in "Wrath of the Titans" will make the Kraken look like baby krill.
Sam Worthington reprises his role as Perseus, who just wants to live as a chill guy raising his kid, not the heroic son of Zeus who defeated the Kraken. But when Hades (Ralph Fiennes) and Ares (Edgar Ramirez) plot to overthrow Zeus (Liam Neeson) and bring Daddy Kronos and the rest of the Titans back to the throne, it's up to Perseus to save his dad and the human race from 'Titan'-ic annihilation. Guess the Greek gods tend not to get along at family reunions.
The ancient Greeks never go out of style, and you don't have to either with our godly awesome giveaway.

As you can see, DC is clearly getting excited about the imminent arrival of The Dark Knight Rises with new movie statues showing Anne Hathaway, Christian Bale, and Tom Hardy, the return of Grant Morrison and Chris Burnham’s Batman Incorporated and the long awaited arrival of Batman: Earth One by Geoff Johns and Gary Frank, and the Talon appearing in every single Batman book this month… and even All-Star Western?
Plus, with the return of Earth One, we also get the return of Earth Two– and the return of the World’s Finest.
Shall we get into it? Let’s!
As always, spoilers may lurk beyond this point.

We hold in our hands the covers for DC Comics this March. As a child of four can plainly see, these comics have been hermetically sealed in a Cgc 9.8 slab, and they’ve been kept in a #2 mayonnaise jar under a giant pile of Christmas tinsel since noon today.
What do we have worth noting? The first fill-in artist on Justice League, although Gene Ha is certainly no slouch in that department. We also have new writers on Firestorm and Green Arrow, new backups in Justice League and Action Comics, and the DC 52 hits lucky number 7.
Shall we see who is the fariest of them all? Oh indeedy, let’s do!
As usual, spoilers may lurk beyond this point.

We hold in our hands the covers for DC Comics this February. As a child of four can plainly see, these comics have been hermetically sealed in a Cgc 9.9 slab, and they’ve been kept in a #2 mayonnaise jar under a giant stack of returned copies of Holy Terror since noon today.
What do we have worth noting? The new look of Darkseid, and we’re far enough into the new 52 books that it’s time for Batman to start crossing over in all of them. Plus Mara Jade, the red-haired assassin who fell in love with her blond-haired man she was sent to kill– oh, I’m sorry, that’s from Star Wars. This is Mera in a jade outfit. Our mistake.
Shall we? Surely!
As usual, spoilers may lurk beyond this point.

As Sequels to X-Men: First Class and also Wrath of the Titans, Rise of the Planet of the Apes and Blade Runner all begin to get moving, let's not forget that 2009's relaunch of Star Trek has also earned itself a follow-up.
And it may now have its villain in place. Benicio Del Toro (pictured) is expected to be offered the part - and it's a role so secret that even the actor doesn't know who he will be playing, reports Variety.

Here it is. The full 52 titles that DC Will debut at the end of the summer. There are a lot of exciting new beginnings for old favorites like Swamp Thing and Sgt. Rock, and the whole lineup is chock full of some of the greatest names in the business. I’m a little disappointed that DC burned 11 of its new titles on the Bat-family alone. That seems a little bit of a waste. Especially since 4 of those titles actually feature Bruce Wayne/Batman in them. I love Bats as much as the next guy, but 4 titles? Really? I thought the whole renumbering was supposed to fix things like that.
In any event, here are the 52. I’m pretty excited all around. Let me hear your thoughts in the comments below.

My favorite item for the month is pictured above, the Sergio Aragones version of Batman from Batman: Black & White. But there are some absolute art gems here, including Darwyn Cooke’s Jsa cover, and Frank Quitely’s redoing of Gil Kane and Murphy Anderson’s cover for Green Lantern #52.

Back in December, we reported that Warner Home Video is bringing out the DVD set Dallas: The Movie Collection on April 12. Well, if you’re a true fan of this 1970s-1980s TV series, don’t pre-order that one just yet. On the same day, Warner also is delivering the whopper mega DVD set Dallas: Seasons 1-14 and The Movie Collection.
Starring Larry Hagman (TV’s Nip/Tuck) as the infamously conniving oil tycoon J.R. Ewing, the long-running soap opera told the tales of the back-stabbing Ewing family from 1978 to 1991. As well as Hagman, the cast included Patrick Duffy (TV’s Step By Step), Linda Gray (TV’s The Bold and the Beautiful), Victoria Principal (TV’s Titans) and Charlene Tilton (Superhero Movie).

Being the highest-grossing film of all-time also comes with its downsides. James Cameron‘s epic topped TorrentFreak‘s list of the most pirated films of the year, taking the crown from J.J. Abram‘s Star Trek last year. Keep in mind the list is for piracy within 2010, not films released in 2010, hence Avatar‘s inclusion.
You can view the top 10 below, but I find it interesting to note Kick-Ass at number two. While it didn’t do gangbusters at the box office, it certainly garnered some attention. Green Zone, also failing at the box office, made quite a dent with pirates. It is also interesting to see the small-budget Oscar-winning The Hurt Locker on the list, when bigger blockbusters such as Toy Story 3 and Alice In Wonderland are nowhere to be found. See the list below and also check out the top-grossing actors of 2010, which we posted earlier this morning.

Your NFL Week 12 Recap, in the form of stupid pictures: Patriots 45, Lions 24 …Which is why so many pilgrims died from smallpox. Jets 26, Bengals 10 After squeaking out last-second wins against mediocre teams like seven weeks in a row, the Jets won this one convincingly, much to the delight of Fan Who Definitely Has No Interest In The Smell Of The Model Glue He Used On His Jet: Saints 30, Cowboys 27 “Any chance they miraculously stopped having Detroit and Dallas play this year? No? Alright, flip back to Tommy Boy” – Every Household last Thursday Steelers 19, Bills 16 (Ot) After the game, new Steelers kicker Shaun Suisham was asked about making four long field goals after being unemployed 2 weeks ago, and replied, “Don’t know how else to put it, we have a great God.” Meanwhile, Bills wide receiver Stevie Johnson, who dropped an easy game-winning pass in Overtime, Tweeted this after the game: Point...

It.s kind of hard to believe that Warner Bros. is even making a sequel to Clash of the Titans, let alone one with new additions like this. But word is that James Franco and Javier Bardem may be up for parts in Clash of the Titans 2, to be titled Wrath of the Titans. Sorry, but the word .wrath. should have been retired from movie titles after Wrath of Khan. Liam Neeson, you.re no Ricardo Montalban. The rumor comes from Production Weekly where they say Bardem is the rumored choice to play the god of war, Ares. Franco would play Agenor, the king of Tyre in Greek mythology. If true this offers a pretty big clue to what the sequel might be about. Agenor.s place in Greek myth is as the father of Europa, whom the god Zeus kidnaps and marries. Is Franco old enough to play the...

Chris Egan, Kevin Zegers and Anthony Mackie are apparently being pursued for roles in the Brad Bird-directed "Mission: Impossible 4" for Paramount Pictures reports The Wrap.
It's unclear whether the actors are in competition with one another or whether there are several parts to be cast. Tom Cruise, Ving Rhames and Simon Pegg are already set to work on the project
Egan is 26-year-old Australian actor who first scored fame as a young blond hunk on the soap "Home and Away", the beach-set drama which helped launch the careers of the likes of Simon Baker, Heath Ledger, Isla Fisher, Melissa George, Naomi Watts and Chris Hemsworth.
Moving to the U.S., he scored minor roles in "Resident Evil: Afterlife", "Eragon" and the mini-series "Empire" before landing the lead role in NBC"s acclaimed but short-lived U.S. monarchy series "Kings". He most recently played the male lead in "Letters to Juliet...
