- An older man rapes a teenage girl and there are flashbacks to a much younger version of the girl being raped as well. (This is cut out of the general release).
- Several explicit scenes of a teenage girl having sex with an older man shown in graphic detail.
- The general release doesn't have any sex except Sawa and Akai being naked as well as brief sexuality without nudity.
- We briefly see a topless young girl. It is implied a young girl was having sex with a man.
- The following is only for the Director's Cut and Special Edition uncut version:
- An older man rapes a young teenage girl. She screams while he thrusts into her. We see the intercourse. A naked young girl and a naked older man have sex. We see the penetration. In one scene a man rapes a teenage girl. Her mouth is taped shut and he thrusts into her, we see the intercourse, and the man's penis is covered in vaginal discharge. Eventually the girl thrusts herself on the man's penis and is later seen performing fellatio. As Sawa and a thug fall from a building after fighting in the men's washroom, we briefly see an older man having sex with a young girl in an office (visual joke).

- People are shot very graphically with guns that have exploding bullets, and blood spurts everywhere.
- A man is shot in the head and in the chest with exploding bullets. The man's head and chest explode, blood sprays everywhere. Three men are shot with explosive bullets and they all explode, blood sprays everywhere.
- A young girl repeatedly shoots an older man. The older man's fingers are shot off and he is shot in the crotch. A young girl repeatedly shoots a man through a bathroom stall with explosive bullets. The man's wrist explodes and his hand goes flying into a urinal. A young girl repeatedly shoots a man. A man is accidentally shot through the hand and in the head.
- A girl shoots a man with exploding bullets. He explodes and blood sprays on her face.
- A man throws four explosives at a man on a subway, he shoots the explosives and the subway blows up. People run and scream, we see the man's head bounce away.
- A young girl stabs a man's hands with needles, she pulls them out and the man bleeds. A young girl stabs a man's ankles with needles.
- A young girl kicks a man in the groin, he vomits.
- A man grabs a young girl and jumps out a building. The young girl hangs onto a sign, and the man hangs on to her ankle. The sign breaks off, and the young girl uses the man as a shield and they fall to the ground, first landing on a car, which falls through the street which lands on a truck, which falls through the ground into a subway station. The sign falls through the hole and everything blows up. The young girl and drivers survive.
- A flaming dead body flies through a window and lands on a dining woman's table, making him for dinner.
- A young man holds an older man by the neck with a knife. His neck briefly bleeds. The two men get in a fight.
- A girl shoots a young man at the end. A young man was injured (offscreen)
- We see a dead old woman. We see a bloody, dead man. We see corpses in a morgue. We see pictures hanging around a room of mutilated dead bodies.
Profanity

- None in the Japanese version except the bathroom fight scene where one S-word is heard.
- The English-dubbed version has some f words in it, (in the 16+ AnimeWorks censored release)

Frightening & Intense Scenes

- The film's adult themes and strong sexual content as well as its graphic violence.
- The film's edited version is still very violent and disturbing, it would definitely be rated R for the graphic violence and adult themes alone.
- Many intense scenes, particularly the one where a sympathetic character's face is stomped on violently and flashbacks of a child being raped.
- The movie has a seedy and hard-boiled atmosphere.
