There’s a moment in Age of Ultron when Wanda Maximoff (Aka Scarlet Witch) casts a spell on the troubled Tony Stark, only to reveal a nightmarish dream in which all of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes lay strewn over the surface of the moon – or some other ash-grey celestial body.
It’s a grim, surprisingly bleak hallucination that preys on Stark’s post-traumatic stress – guiding a nuke through an open wormhole will do that to you – and it’s one that clearly informs the latest fan poster for Avengers: Infinity War.
First spotted by Reddit, the one-sheet in question sees Thanos, armed with a fully-equipped Infinity Gauntlet, crushing Cap’s shield as though it was nothing more than a star-spangled dinner plate. But lean a little closer and you’ll begin to uncover all of the many Easter eggs and cute references scattered around the Mad Titan’s imposing fist.

For the longest time, Deathstroke was a rather obscure DC character. But, thanks in large part to Arrow, the world’s deadliest mercenary permeated the mainstream, with appearances in video games such as Batman: Arkham Origins and animated films like Son of Batman also doing wonders to help his cause.
Much to our delight, Slade Wilson’s future is looking brighter than ever now, as the character recently appeared in a post-credits scene for Justice League, in addition to Warner Bros. kicking around the idea for a solo film. That’s all hugely exciting, especially because Joe Manganiello is absolutely perfect in the role and it seems that he has a bright future in the DC Extended Universe.
There’s the standalone outing we just mentioned, which is being helmed by director Gareth Evans and is looking to Gods of War, Tony S. Daniel and Sandu Florea’s comic series...

Long before Clive Barker and the folks at Dimension Films joined forces for Hellraiser: Judgment, the former had another idea in mind: a full-fledged remake of his own 1987 horror flick.
Of course, those plans wound up being shelved in favor of Judgment, which is yet to lock down an official release date over at Dimension. But Barker’s script for Hellraiser is still floating around cyberspace, and Rob Ridenour of the Clive Barker Cast (with a tip of the hat to Bloody Disgusting) has just managed to retrieve it. Not only that, he’s even reviewed it.
It’s essential reading for any horror fan, while those familiar with the original Hellraiser will be able to spot a lot of similarities between Barker’s story template and the Hellraiser of ’87.

That eternal struggle between good and evil – between the dark side and the light – has been a cornerstone of Lucasfilm’s Star Wars franchise ever since Luke Skywalker walked out into Tatooine’s twin sunset. And when it comes to The Last Jedi, that feud will essentially boil down to two very powerful individuals who may have more in common than we’ve been led to believe: Rey and Kylo Ren.
Played by Daisy Ridley and Adam Driver, respectively, the Force-sensitive duo will be a big, big part of Rian Johnson’s sci-fi sequel, and we’ve even heard rumors that Luke Skywalker will be the one who pushes Rey toward Kylo Ren in the first place. It’s almost 2018, and neither Elm Street nor The Texas Chainsaw Massacre are in the best of shape.
The former was last rebooted back in 2010, when Samuel Bayer resurrected Freddy Krueger for a new generation and, well, let’s just say the end product struggled to leave much of an impression. Wes Craven’s horror masterclass is by no means finished, though, what with plans in place for a second reboot, one that will presumably begin to step out of the shadows in 2018.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre, on the other hand, has been steadily pumping out one sequel after another ever since Tobe Hooper’s seminal classic introduced those blood-thirsty cannibals back in ’74. The latest incarnation, Leatherface, took things in a decidedly different direction, though Alexandre Bustillo and Julien Maury’s prequel will ultimately be remembered as an uninspired mess.

Had things panned out differently, An American Werewolf in London would’ve spawned a sequel.
And we’re not talking about An American Werewolf in Paris-type situation, but a true follow-up from writer-director John Landis, who was initially approached by PolyGram back in ’91 about the possibility of revisiting his horror gem.
As revealed in the newly-published Beware The Moon: The Story of An American Werewolf In London by Paul Davis (with a tip of the hat to Digital Spy), Landis’ super-secret pitch focused on a relatively minor character from the first film: Debbie Klein.
The movie was about the girl that the boys talk about at the beginning of the movie, Debbie Klein. Crait is home to many weird and wonderful creatures in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, but late last night, the mysterious ice fox certainly caused quite the stir online.
Little is known about the blue-eyed beast, other than the fact that it was originally unveiled in July’s behind-the-scenes sizzle reel from D23. Seen scurrying across the sun-scorched plain toward a massive gateway (a Resistance outpost, perhaps?), the crystal-covered animal stops and gazes toward the horizon, where a fleet of gorilla walkers (real name: At-M6 Walkers) are closing in fast.
Assuming that is indeed the case, and the skulk of ice foxes is seeking shelter within a Resistance base, we’re inclined to believe that the animals have established some form of amicable bond with the Resistance, and may even serve as scouts to help secure the perimeter. What’s more, earlier in the trailer the Millennium Falcon was seen...

Marvel's McU is pretty cool, but having such a wide universe can cause some problems. One of those problems being that audiences feel they have to watch all of movies in the cinematic universe to be able to get what is going on in the newest film. But that isn't something that director Taika Waititi wants you to worry about with Thor: Ragnarok.
Taika Waititi recently made a statement regarding the movie and how it's supposed to fit into the larger universe that makes up the McU. In short, he's not concerned with it at all.
"My job is to make a film that can sit alone as a standalone piece that obviously I’ll be proud of. But I want it to be a film that, if it’s the only Marvel film you see, that it’s a great film and it’s a great story in and of itself.

One of the most controversial parts of the new Spider-Man was his suit. While many insist that the suit Peter Parker wears in the McU is one of the best things ever, many argue that it's too techy, and doesn't feel like classic Spider-Man. I am of the opinion that it is awesome. Especially the eyes that react and show facial expressions.
Well, some new concept art by Ryan Meinerding shows a couple of the unused costume ideas that have a certain inspiration that many might recognize. The first is black and red and based on the Superior Spider-Man design that was sported by Doctor Octopus when he killed Peter Parker and took over his body for over a year. Yeah, that was a thing for awhile. It was a great story that pissed off many (myself included) but kept us coming back. The second is a design inspired by Scarlet Spider.

The original Jumanji may be too old for most kids to remember, but Sony Pictures is making sure its star, Robin Williams won't be forgotten in the sequel Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle.
The Hollywood Reporter spoke to Jack Black about the upcoming adventure film. Black explained that the late Williams still had a role to play, with the new film featuring a tribute to him.
“We’re exploring this jungle and trying to conquer the game; it’s life or death. But while we’re there, we find clues left behind by [Williams’ character Alan Parrish]. He built up a full-blown jungle house, similar to a Swiss Family Robinson situation. It’s like he’s there helping us without actually being there.”
Black also said there will be differences between Jumanji and the sequel.
“[In the original] you never got to see the inside world. But this one takes place primarily inside the jungle of Jumanji.

It’s hard to believe, but it was roughly 40 years ago to the day that George Lucas forever changed the world of cinema, and probably the world in general, by giving us Star Wars. Rogue One‘s motley crew of traitors, saboteurs, terrorists and criminals made for a fascinating departure from usual Star Wars fare, their all-too-brief on-screen appearances leading fans to speculate about the exciting adventures they’d been on prior to the events of the film. One of the biggest questions was how Cassian and his droid buddy K-2So came to travel with one another. It’s something that many fans have been wondering about and now, a new comic book is going to fill in that particular blank, telling us precisely how Cassian first encountered K-2So and liberated him from the slavery of Imperial servitude.
The full title is Star Wars: Rogue One – Cassian & K-2So Special #1, to be written by Duane Swierczynski and illustrated by Fernando Blanco. As yet, we don’t know what the meat of the story is, but we do have the cover for...

Tekken is one of those names that I’m sure most people recognise, even those who don’t go in for gaming. Tekken has been around for over two decades, and I’m sure most of us have played a game or two over the years. Although not a rabid fan, I have enjoyed several of the games but even I would admit that turning very superficial archetypal characters into living, breathing characters in comic book form may be a tough ask. Two plus points off the bat though. A quick potted history and character bios at the front of the book were a great help, and the video game design was a nice touch. I still love the Johhny Bravo of Tekken, Paul Phoenix. Best. Hair. Ever.
For those that came in late don’t worry, this is not Shakespeare.

Long drive to and from Secaucus. It was a convention-filled weekend and, judging by the contents of the jar that accepts donations, a profitable one for The Hero Initiative. That organization is mostly the reason I attend conventions these days and a noble reason it is.
Two rough spots: as I was leaving a stage after blathering for an hour, I stumbled and fell – whomp! No harm done – no kidding, none – except maybe to my ego.
That slapstick was the first rough spot. The second was much grimmer. Sometime Sunday afternoon someone said that George Pérez wasn’t in attendance because he’d been taken to the hospital. Later we learned that George had suffered a heart attack. Had been given angioplasty and was resting comfortably.

CinemaCon has proven to be quite an experience for those in attendance, with footage being shown off from some of 2017’s biggest films. While most of these screenings and trailer/clip reveals were expected, last night brought with it a surprise, as Universal decided to bring The Fate of the Furious with them, showing it off to some lucky attendees. Of course, full reviews are still under embargo, but the first wave of reactions have now made their way online, and they’re overwhelmingly positive.
You’d think that after eight installments, the franchise would be running out of gas about now (pun intended), but apparently not, as The Fate of the Furious appears to be even more wild and over the top than what’s come before – though we’re not quite sure how that’s possible. Judging by the reactions of those who’ve seen it, F. Gary Gray...

The Cybermen, bar none, have always been my favourite Dr Who villains. In fact, not only my favourite Who villains, but in my top ten of science fiction villains ever. I could also bore you with reasons why they are not ‘villains’ as such in my mind, but unless you have a beer in your hand and a few hours to spare I’ll excuse you for now. It’s not just me of course, so why are the Cybermen so popular? I think, like the Daleks, they tap into two areas of the human mind. A fear of technology, of technology surpassing us and then suppressing us. Fear also of being imprisoned, of being turned into something we don’t want to be and something we cannot ever escape from. Last night, Darth Vader came down from Planet Vulcan and told me that if I didn't tell you all about these Back to the Future trilogy posters from artist Ian Glaubinger, that he'd melt my brain. So take a look at what Glaubinger has done here: each poster serves not only as a stylized tribute to the movies themselves, but also provides a nice recap of some of the trilogy's biggest and most important moments. There are a bunch of little details in here that stand out, like the silhouette of Lorraine and George in the bottom of the first image, the Jaws 19 shark popping up in the second one, and Marty's makeshift bulletproof vest from the third film. Pretty cool, right?

Thomas Rhett's tour bus is baby ready!
The country singer opened up to Et's Sophie Schillaci about the adjustments he and pregnant wife Lauren Akins are making after announcing recently that they are both expecting and adopting a child.
'We've already added a crib to our tour bus," the 26-year-old crooner shared at the 2017 iHeartRadio Music Awards on Sunday. "We're trying to make all the right alterations to make sure that our kids can come out [on tour]."

But it doesn't sound like Rhett expects life to slow down at all once they've welcomed their little ones!

While 20th Century Fox has been enjoying its time in the spotlight this weekend thanks to all the praise being showered on Logan, not to mention the awesome Deadpool 2 promo that arrived with it, the focus – as far as comic book movies go – will soon shift back to Warner Bros. and its DC Extended Universe when the next trailer for Wonder Woman lands, which might be this coming Friday. Along with Justice League, it represents a chance for the studio to get things back on track after failing to live up to expectations with Suicide Squad and Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.
And so, while we eagerly await our next look at Patty Jenkins’ upcoming effort, Zack Snyder has taken to Vero today to share a little DC goodie in the form of a new shot of the Batmobile as it’ll appear in Justice League. Admittedly, it...

Each year, Warner Home Video puts out three major DC animated films – in 2017’s case, Justice League Dark, Teen Titans: The Judas Contract and Batman and Harley Quinn – but sometimes we get a few unexpected treats in between. One such example comes in the surprise announcement of Vixen: The Movie.
For those unfamiliar, Vixen was an animated web series on the CW Seed streaming service that chronicled the adventures of the superheroine of the same name. But what made this especially appealing was that it took place within the confines of the Arrowverse, thus Mari McCabe was voiced by Megalyn Echikunwoke, the very same actress who played her in live action on Arrow.
Being someone who doesn’t always have the time to catch up on web series, I’d been waiting for it to be included as bonus content on a Blu-ray release of, say, Arrow or The Flash.

The Walking Dead returned this past Sunday with a wholly enjoyable outing that took a lot of steps in the right direction towards fixing what went wrong in the first half of season 7. It wasn’t perfect, but between the new sense of optimism and hope, some fun character interactions, a tense scene on the highway and more of a reduced role for Negan, the episode showed much promise and we’re certainly looking forward to what comes next.
Speaking of which, we know that an “all-out war” is on the horizon as Rick attempts to gather up the troops in his attempt to take out Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s aforementioned villain. In fact, if the cast are to be believed, the season 7 finale will be both “ambitious” and action-packed. That’d make sense, too, given what’s being planned, and in a recent interview with ComicBook.com, Ross Marquand,...

Okay, so a little background here:
We actually reported on this big twist a few months ago, and- at the request of Blumhouse- we took it down within an hour of publishing it. Despite it being a big, evil *Spoiler* we actually thought revealing it to all of you would help hype Split, since it would give it some buzz before it arrived in theaters. Now that the film has come out to healthy box office numbers, and now that we see how the film's big twist has got people bugging out, we're happy with our decision to pull the report.

Crowdfunding has always been a mostly one-way street between backers and creators. The backers are essentially preordering a product before it's created. In the case of movies, it almost always means getting a digital download or a t-shirt in exchange for early financial backing. And that's great if you're just a fan who wants to help kickstart a product into the real world. But now there's a new way to crowdfund films, and it's one that turns a contribution into a legitimate investment. Every project is bound to have different terms, but basically, your contribution isn't just preordering some movie schwag, it's literally buying into the film. If it makes it profit, you make a profit. Pretty cool, right? One of the first films to employ...

Meet Peter Parker. Do you remember that time Billy Dee Williams had roughly seven lines as Harvey Dent in the 1989 Batman film, which starred Michael Keaton, and was directed by Tim Burton? Do you then remember how in the film’s sequel, Batman Returns, Dent completed his horrible transformation into the maniacal Two-Face?
No? Me neither.
