- None, the Fawns wear some revealing clothing, but the pointed polygons of the game's graphics makes it unsexual.

- Spyro can get his bare bottom burned by the fire or falling in lava and he's seen jumping while his butt's on fire, if Sparx disappears, Spyro's whole body will be burned to a crisp and will die and lose a life.
- Enemies are killed by setting fire to them, but they just fall over and disappear.
- A common gag in the cutscenes is for a character to get crushed.
- In one level, characters can be eaten by giant lizards, there is no blood or dismemberment.

- Some of the mini-games involving speedway timed missions can be very difficult to win if the player isn't fast enough. Also the mini-game including flying or swimming through the hoops, trolley track courses, getting crystal pieces or flying though areas or super running while jumping and turning can be frustrating to conquer and beat.
- The three boss characters may by frightening to very young players.
- In the Fracture Hills level, some very hard to kill enemies called Earthshapers may frighten very young players.
