Production sound mixer Ed Greene has been selected to receive the Cinema Audio Society's annual career achievement award. The winner of 19 Emmys and a 47-time Emmy nominee, Greene will be presented with the honor at the 43rd CAS Awards on Feb. 17 at the Millennium-Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles. Greene won the CAS Award in 2003 for outstanding achievement in sound mixing for television. He also was nominated for a CAS Award three other times: in 2004 for The 45th Annual Grammy Awards and "The Kennedy Center Honors: A Celebration of the Performing Arts" and in 2000 for The 41st Annual Grammy Awards.
