Sex & Nudity

  • There's a scene in Koopa Village where one of the Fuzzies jumps down on the Koopa resident and steals his shell and he's wearing only his undershirt but no pants so you can see briefly see his exposed bottom but he quickly gets up.

Violence & Gore

  • In the turn based battles Paper Mario can often be seen swinging his hammer or throwing his hammer at enemies or jumping on them including goombas, koopas.
  • The enemies can often be seen attacking Mario by burning him, electrocuting him, jumping on him.
  • In the opening of Paper Mario, Paper Bowser gets into a fight and beats up Paper Mario and knocks him out and throws his paper body out of the sky leaving him for dead.

Profanity

  • Some name-calling and insults, such as "idiot," "fool," "stupid," and "chump."

  • None (However this game features gambling including slot machines.)

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The opening scene with Bowser taking over the castle, causing an earthquake, lifting Princess Peaches castle in the sky can be a little scary.
