Sex & Nudity

Violence & Gore

  • Frank's friend Rod watches a fight sequence from an old martial arts movie. Not scary or disturbing by today's standards, but there is a lot of punching and kicking. A pixel wolf-man splits apart in bloody pieces. The animation is not remotely realistic, but the imagery is clear. Rod incapacitates the henchman with a martial arts move. It is quick and not disturbing. Frank hits Nailor over the head with a bread board, causing him to expel the ring he swallowed.

Profanity

  • About 14 F-words, one "Bloody hell" two "Bitch" one "What the hell" one "Shit" one "Ass." Missing Miranda, Frank complains, "Even Jesus came back after three days, and he was dead!" Christian irreverently misquotes the Lord's prayer.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Miranda smokes frequently in public and in her apartment, where she also fixes herself an alcoholic drink. Frank and Miranda meet up for a drink at a bar where others are also seen to have alcoholic beverages. Frank describes his shopping list, which includes cigarettes. Nailor encourages someone to "have a drink downstairs."

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The henchman subtly--and then not-so subtly--threatens Frank and forces him to get into a car and then a bus. Nailor threatens Miranda with a knife and describes being born by caesarian section. Nailor eats a button and ring of Miranda's with obvious discomfort.
  • Over all, this movie's rating seems quite appropriate.
