- The player can decapitate enemies, blast their bodies, burn them to death, some of the burns result in the enemy's flesh ripped from the bones, leaving a bloody skeleton behind. Innocents can also be killed and their screams are quite painful. Lots of dead bodies, mangled limbs, blood and guts everywhere. No wonder it was considered the most violent game of 1997.

- The game centers around a man called Caleb who seeks revenge towards a cult when they killed his wife. There are many stylish monsters and hooded cultists throwing dynamite and shooting machine guns. Overall a very dark tone is present in this game. However, the game can be a bit silly sometimes so it can make the player feel relief.
