When I saw this movie, I was shocked at the performance of Peter Ho. After playing a slick villain in the sixth Young and Dangerous film BORN TO BE KING, he plays a hero with a dark past in this low budget film shot in the Philippines.
If you see this film, check out the prison sequence with Ho in it because the look on his face is what you get for most of the film. Also, the other people who make him happy include a brother and sister who run a hotel, played by Timmy Hung (Sammo Hung's son) and Jean Wang (from ONCE UPON A TIME IN CHINA IV).
The action sequences are really good, nice hand-to-hand fights and some gunplay too.
