This incident is the basis for Casey Sherman’s next true crime thriller; A Murder in Hollywood, and it’s also heading to the small screen.
Jake Crane, no relation, who wrote the screenplay for Jonathan Majors and Glen Powell-fronted Korean War feature Devotion, directed by J.D. Dillar, has optioned the rights to the book and will adapt.

Steve Aoki’s new menswear collection is making a political statement.
The DJ, 39, revealed his Spring/Summer 2018 Dim Mak collection Paradise Found during an outdoor concert and fashion show, live streamed by Build Series on Tuesday night in New York City. Aoki also debuted songs from his upcoming rap-infused album Kolony, due out July 21.
When Aoki sat down to brainstorm for this collection — his sixth for Dim Mak — he was drawn to the current politics in the U.S. “One of the feelings I got when we started developing this mood board was we live under the Trump presidency,” he told People.

Paradise found, paradise lost: That’s the best way to describe what took place in the finale of Bachelor In Paradise. I walked into the villa the morning after the final rose ceremony, and there were six couples looking back at me. I knew immediately that most wouldn’t make it or be staying much longer, but I also knew the others were about to be tested well beyond what they expected. Everybody was wondering what the big twist was going to be, how would all this end. Well, the big twist was that there wasn’t one. I love...

Sean Connery may have played James Bond seven times. Jerry Orbach starred in 274 episodes of Law & Order. Yet, neither can equal the stamina or patience of George Lee Andrews, who’s appeared in a single Broadway musical, Phantom of the Opera, for 9,382 performances in just over 23 years. If you’re still trying to figure out what to get your mom, don’t panic– we sat down with celeb stylist Robert Verdi at his Mother’s Day twitter party on May 3 where he offered up some great tips for virtually any and every mom! Robert said he could spoil his mom to death, but at the end of the day there’s one thing she really loves– looking at pictures! So, every year he puts together photo albums for her. Making something is always really thoughtful– but so is picking up something that’s so in tune with what your mom likes! Whether your mom’s a neat freak, a fashionista, a beauty queen, or just totally practical, I’m sure you can find something for your leading lady, just in time for Sunday.

Chicago – It seems ironic that “Couples Retreat,” a film about a group of friends who think they’re going on a peaceful vacation but get hoodwinked into couples counseling, is itself a bait-and-switch, advertising a sexy comedy and delivering a dull trip. Avoid this awful excuse for a comedy.
Blu-Ray Rating: 2.0/5.0
Like a couple headed for divorce, “Couples Retreat” starts promisingly, goes through a few bumpy patches, and ends in a final act so unfunny, poorly made, and ill-conceived that it nearly approaches “so bad you should see it” categorization. The final act of “Couples Retreat” with its endless character revelations and awful resolutions is unbearably written, directed, and performed.
Couples Retreat was released on Blu-ray and DVD on February 9th, 2010.

Throughout its six seasons, Xena: Warrior Princess featured an enormous array of world mythologies, but my absolute favorite was the four-episode arc dealing with Gabrielle's spiritual quest in India, which is why that particular storyline earns the most esteemed award we here at TheTorchOnline can bestow: The India Storyline Five Torches (Out of Five) The first episode, called "Paradise Found," takes place before they even arrive in India, but introduces the element that most affected me: Gabrielle begins to feel peace by focusing on her breathing and practicing Yoga. Sure, it sounds hippie-dippie and new age-y, but anyone who's truly thrown themselves into the practice of Yoga understands its healing and soothing effects. Unfortunately, Gabrielle is guided along the beginning of her path by a guru named Aiden, who is actually a demon who feeds off the goodness of the people who come to his island paradise.

PARIS -- French producer Georges Campana, who left Vivendi Universal subsidiary Le Sabre in July, is setting up his own company, Breakout Films, and has put together an initial slate of English-language movies and miniseries. Breakout is one of the three main shareholders in production entity Screensaver International, alongside German producer Peter Paulich and Australian director-producer Mario Andreacchio. The three previously partnered on the movie Paradise Found, in which Kiefer Sutherland starred as painter Paul Gaugin. "The ambition is to make feature films and event miniseries, always with at least one major partner in Germany, Australia, the United Kingdom and so on," Campana said recently. Ignoring the movie adage about never working with animals or children, Campana's first project as producer involves working with baby animals. Five of them. The family movie Two Brothers Running, directed by Andreacchio, is scheduled to start shooting in South Africa at month's end. "It's a sort of road movie centered on two baby elephants who have to make a journey through the African bush," Campana said.

The members of the group, whose ranks include Scott Hicks, producer Mark Patterson, and director Craig Lahiff (Black and White, Heaven's Burning), aim to forge a focal point for the industry in South Australia that can identify and respond to issues of interest and concern. "Adelaide (the state capital and largest city) has established itself as a filmmaking city and the UFG represents a bold initiative to take the multimillion-dollar industry to another more successful level," said UFG spokesperson, director Mario Andreacchio, whose credits include Napoleon and Paradise Found.
