DUNAWAY'S DIRECTORIAL DEBUT IS A BEAUTY
pik9234 September 2003
An actor's actor, she can be the director's director. Congratulations for her first wonderful film - the love she has for the play, Williams, using his voice in reading the story interwoven with those southern images; her unique style of storytelling, the cast. I hope she has the opportunity and support to direct and shoot full length feature films.

There is something uniquely 'Dunaway' in this film. The world premiere was held at Cannes, and we (at the Jerusalem Film Festival) were able to get a copy of the print, with Ms. Dunaways permission, and screen it that same summer.

Faye Dunaway is a rare talent. I am grateful that she is not only in front of the camera, but behind the lens, weaving her own cinematic magic.
