Sex & Nudity

Violence & Gore

  • Contains strong violence throughout, including gun violence and melee combat, resulting in constant bloody deaths. Weaker enemies explode into a pile of gore and viscera when killed with stronger weapons, and the player may emit a blood-curdling scream when killed in a particularly brutal fashion. The game is quite pixelated and unrealistic by contemporary standards, however.
  • Gore but heavily pixilated rip and tear till its done and you can get it on the app store and steam for under a fiver.
  • Game has blood and gore however the characters you kill are mostly demons and zombies and the game is pixelated. Most 12 year olds could probably handle it.
  • About as badass as the first game.

Profanity

  • Text chat and Usernames in multiplayer have no form of filter and players can use any bad language they desire without consequence, Including Racial, Homophobic, Anti-Semitic and Transphobic slurs. I would strongly advice not letting your child play Multiplayer.
  • Very mild, to the point where there is almost none.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Although tame by today's standards this game is a lot more disturbing than the first game. Especially the hell sequences.
  • The general nature of the game, which involves the constant threat by and killing of demons in a bloody fashion, while unrealistic by contemporary standards, may cause distress.
