Malayalam film megastar Mohanlal is going to unite with his Vietnam Colony director Siddhique after almost two decades. Earlier in 1992, Siddhique along with Lal directed Mohanlal in Vietnam Colony, which was one of the best films from the directors’ duo and it became the most watched films in television.
Since then, the director dup separated and Lal became one of the successful independent directors in Mollywood and Mohanlal became a megastar.
However, the latest news is that Mohanlal has now asked Siddhique to work in a new movie with him, which will be produced under the banner of Aashirwad Cinemas. The new film to be directed by Siddhique is going to be Mohanlal’s Onam release in 2011.
In the meantime, Siddhique is now busy in finishing the postproduction of his remake of Malayalam film Bodyguard in Tamil. The remake version is titled Kavalan and it is starring Ilaya Thalapathi Vijay.
