Wonderful biography of Don Adams by his cast & crew from Get Smart
nellen2 July 2002
Working as casting assistant on "Get Smart" was one of the best times of my life .. Don is a super person .. he was fun to work for and I got to be a part of this .. as he calls it .. his biography .. when TV Land came to my home to interview me about Don .. The piece was well done and has a lot of information as well as a lot of fun in it .. I was lucky enough not only to work on "Get Smart" but again on "The Partners" for Don and Lee Wolfberg, his partner and again as Don's Exec. Assistant as he wrote .. created various things...but "Don Adams Screen Test" was what we finally ended up doing at Universal Studios .. though the pilot was shot at a TV Studio in Hollywood .. never aired.. James Caan, Jason Miller, Connie Stevens & Patty Duke were the celebrities who did a scene from a famous movie with a contestant .. we had some judges.. George Marshall (the famous Director) .. and a few more .. cannot remember them all ..but working for & with Don AND talking to him now or even about him .. The Best!

PC Game...
jmcb17 February 2002
Thought I'd add a comment, letting people know what this PC game is, though I haven't played on this game.

"Jaclyn Smith is one of stars who has filmed special questions for this new PC game called, BLAST FROM THE PAST from TV Land. This is a one-of-a-kind PC game which Jaclyn Smith and other tv stars ask questions about their own show which you the player have to answer correctly!"

I have the game and i just absoulutely LOVE IT!!!!

It's an excellent game and I have played it ALOT ever since I got it for a birthday present. It's interesting seeing what the stars look like now and remembering what they look like when they were on there TV shows. I think out of all the stars that are on that game, my favorite one is Davy Jones of the Monkees. I'm hoping that there will be a 2nd edition of the game with different TV stars on it. For example, maybe someone from the Addams Family could be on there, if anyone from that show is still alive to participate in the game, and also maybe if he could, maybe another Monkee could be on it, say like Micky Dolenz perhaps? Well, who knows. Maybe someday there will be a 2nd edition. One can only hope so. I just thought of someone else who would be good for the game, David Cassidy of the Partridge family. Well, that's about all I have to say. Oh one last thing, I think it should have the same game host on the 2nd edition. Gary Owens.

This is an excellent game. If you think you know something about T.V... Think again. This game is a challenge and host Gary Owens is very funny. If you want a T.V. challenge. Go for it! You may be surprised at what you don't know. If you win your game you get to pick a celebrity to listen to a "back stage pass" Very fun.
