Misery Loves Company (2002)
*** (out of 4)
This here is a good making-of featurette for the 1990 film MISERY. What's so good about this thirty-minute documentary is that it features interviews with Rob Reiner, Kathy Bates, James Caan, William Goldman and various others involved with the production of the film. If you're a fan of the film then you'll certainly enjoy this documentary even though it's certainly not ground-breaking nor does it go into every detail about the making of the picture. We get to hear from Reiner on how he got the rights to make the film and then we go into the casting. It was great fun getting to hear from Bates as she talks about getting into a role like this as well as what she didn't like about the violence. All in all this is a fun look at the making of the picture.
