An OK offering

Candida Royale writes and produces erotica from and for a mainly female perspective but that is not to say that men cannot also enjoy these movies. Although these movies contain hardcore sex scenes, they are not as graphic as the scenes from other producers. In particular, she does not always employ the "money shot" but instead includes more foreplay at the start and a more personal interaction between the cast at the end of each sex scene.

Eyes of Desire is another offering from the Femme studio. A female photographer (Missy) rents a house and using a telescope at a window she observes the intimate relationship of the couple in the house opposite. This being a porn movie, it comes as no surprise that she is aroused by these goings on and has to find out for herself who the man is.

It has to be said that this is not one of Candida Royale's better movies. Whilst the women are obviously beautiful and the men take care of their physique, I have never understood the attraction of Tony Tedeschi. Also, movies from Femme are offered as a way of promoting female empowerment, but how a man telling a woman to take her clothes off empowers her is something of a mystery to me.

It is the little things that let down this movie and some sex scenes could have been more erotica than porn so I have rated it 4 stars.

Well-crafted Adult feature from Candida

With obvious overtones of Hitchcock's classic "Rear Window", Candida Royalle's "Eyes of Desire" shows her skill at presenting eroticism and high technical standards.

Somewhat prescient in its depiction of a woman's desire to be a sub (a la "50 Shades" decades hence), Missy is staying at Sharon Mitchell's home, sort of housesitting, when she becomes obsessed in spying on her neighbors (while they're having sex) via a handy telescope

The submission comes in when neighbor Mickey G. takes control and both seductively and with domination takes Missy under his wing, telling her what to do, and her loving it when she obliges.

Besides Adult Cinema icon Sharon Mitchell, looking great, Missy is supported by the uber-sexy Chloe, while in the sequel shot in tandem with this feature a hot new set of femmes join Missy. It is worth noting that the team of Mickey G. and Missy (married in real life were a major force in Adult Cinema at the time.

In terms of camerawork and skillful storytelling, Royalle does a great job of immersing the viewer in Missy's POV.
