Carmen : [as the gang is crossing a bridge to Lava Mountain] I see you brought Grandpa into the game.
Juni Cortez : I thought it was a good idea at the time.
Carmen : Juni! The Toymaker's the guy who put Grandpa in the wheelchair 30 years ago, exactly. If Grandpa tries to take revenge, the Toymaker will break free. He's that powerful.
Juni Cortez : Then we have to convince Grandpa that revenge is not the way to solve it.
Rez : OK, Guy, we found your pal. Now, where are we going, exactly? Where's Level Five?
Carmen : First of all, you don't ask the questions around here, I do, Second of all...
Juni Cortez : We're going to Lava Mountain.
Carmen : We are?
Juni Cortez : Beyond that is the passage to Level Five.
Carmen : l don't think so.
Rez : Oh, so suddenly you're the game expert.
Francis : We're following the Guy.
Carmen : [huddles her brother away from the other boys] You know, Juni, we don't need these guys following us. Not where we're going.
Juni Cortez : I promised them they could tag along.
[shows her the map]
Juni Cortez : Look, this is how I know where to go. Trust me.

Carmen : [Carmen, Juni, Rez, Arnold, Francis and Grandpa approach the edge of the volcano on Lava Mountain] Lava Mountain.
Juni : [looking at the volcano] Why is it that every video game has lava in it?
Francis : [to Juni] Technically, that's not true.
[Carmen approaches the edge of the volcano and kicks a small molten rock off the edge cliff into the lava]
Francis : There's no lava in Halo. And in Metroid, it's molten magma.
Carmen : [to the boys] Can't touch the lava or it's game over.
Rez : [looking at Carmen] But, I have 6 lives left!
Carmen : [to Rez] Doesn't matter. You fall in, you lose.
Francis : [looking at the edge] The game's getting tougher, guys.
Juni : This is impossible!
Carmen : [to Grandpa] What do you think, Grandpa?
[Juni, Carmen, Rez, Arnold and Francis look at Grandpa]
Grandfather : [looking at the edge of the volcano] Difficult.
Carmen : [going a different direction] Let's go another way.
[to the boys]
Carmen : Follow me, boys.
Juni : [Juni looks at the map Demetra gave her] This doesn't make any sense!

Carmen : [checking the entrance to Level 5 is open] How much time do we have left?
Juni : [checking his watch] Five minutes.
Rez : [walking over to Carmen and Juni, interrogating them] What happens in five minutes?
Carmen : [to Rez, telling him the truth] This place gets flooded with players from around the world.
Francis : [rolling his eyes] Oh great! Competition!
Carmen : [turning to Francis and the rest of them] The Toymaker will take over their minds. *That's* why we have to shut down the game.
Juni : [to Carmen, in a whisper, trying to tell her about his secret] Shh! Carmen!
Rez : [to Juni, interrogating him, almost convinced he and his sister are deceiving them] What is she talking about?
Carmen : [to Juni, trying to get him to tell the truth to the boys] You didn't tell them yet, did you?
Juni : [to Juni, trying to cover it up] I was getting around to it...
Francis : [to Rez, in a whisper, convinced] Deceivers...
[Rez nods]
Arnold : [confused] What about the other side of Level 5?
Carmen : [to Arnold] There *is* no other side! You'll be imprisoned in the game! Game over!
Rez : [pointing at Carmen, furious with both of them that they betrayed them] We're not letting you shut down this game!
[to Juni]
Rez : Now you're gonna see how that counter of yours can count backwards!
Carmen : [Carmen steps in front of Juni, showing her claw from her suit in front of Rez] You'll have to go through me *first*; game boy!
Juni : [trying to convince them he is still The Guy] Now, listen to me! I'm The Guy!
Rez : [knowing Juni's lie] Stop saying you're The Guy! We all know you're not The Guy!
The Guy : [Rez hears a voice in the distance] He's not The Guy!
[a flash of light appears, Rez turns around and the real Guy appears]
The Guy : I am!
[the Guy walks towards them]
