- In the cutscenes, Carmelita is always referred to as a nickname containing "hot" in the newspapers, specifically "hot chick with gun", "hot stuff with a badge", "Latin hottie", and "hot Latin spitfire".
- Carmelita's outfit includes a shoulderless top that exposes her midriff.

- One of the enemies in the game is a cartoonish giant mosquito, which can kill Sly by sucking his blood and spewing it out through its proboscis. Naturally, a huge amount of blood is seen, but the blood is purple and not red, for some reason (probably to keep the game rated E).
- Sly's leg can sometimes be seen twitching when he dies.
- There is alot of action and fighting throughout the game such as punching and shooting, but nothing too bad for kids 6+.
Profanity

- The word 'kickass' is seen written in one of the cutscenes (on a newspaper).
- Nothing beyond ''Oh my gosh,'' or ''Oh crud.''
- At one point Bentley says "Oh my Gawd", as shown in the subtitles.

- Sly briefly calls Muggshot a 'canine steroid-case' in one of the cutscenes.
- In one cutscene, Muggshot can be seen with a cigar in his mouth. One of the enemies, specifically a Doberman Pinscher employed by Muggshot as a casino enforcer, also smokes a cigar.
- Sir Raleigh The Frog is holding the glass of the alcoholic drink at the cutscene of his backstory.
- In the cutscene of Sly Coopers childhood, Sly Cooper as a kid can be seen sitting on his fathers lap as his father is seen with a tobacco pipe next to him.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- Some of the bosses and minions may frighten children(especially Clockwerk and Ms.Ruby.) Ms.Ruby's level is somewhat creepy on account of the living dead creatures and on one part, Bentley points out to Sly that a waterfall has bones and body parts in it. A couple times in the game Sly is chased and shot at by Carmelita(which are intense.) The game is very intense at times, but not too bad.

- Sly kisses Carmelita at the end of the game after flirting with her throughout it.
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking
- In the final level, Sly Cooper and his love interest, Carmelita Fox, are trapped by Clockwerk and are gassed by an unknown substance, but are later saved.
