This film resembles a western flick and it is pretty interesting. In a small town in the Venezuelian countryside two powerful families live in a constant and ardent war.So the gunshots and the murders can't be averted.Aaron is the son of Abraham Paredes-the patriarch of Paredes who hates Numa Pompilio - the patriarch of Sarmientos.Aaron fells in love with Corazon(Heart)-a beautiful peasant girl who is very good-natured but she is illiterate .Aaron tries to transform her in a great lady.The situation gets harder when his selfish father also fells in love with her.Moreover,his son,Damian and Numa's daughter Yomira fell in love as well.At the same , Abelardo-Numa's son and Eloisa-Abraham's daughter have a love affair.But the protagonists will have to fight for their happiness in a world full of hate and struggle . The film has an interesting story,a nice music and a lot of action scenes with gunshots like in an Italian western.It is far better than other films produced in Venezuela which are boring and typical.So Pura Sangre is worth seeing.

Already years ago I saw, but i remember that i was fascinated to see the excellent duels of performance between the actors, all cast was perfect. In addition: the history, the dialogs, the coherence between the facts, the psychology and profile of the characters are extraordinary.
History turns surroundings to two families who were very near and by chances of the destiny, is generated among them a very great problem that separates them, to degree to generate hatred between which there was much esteem. The problem is that this hatred, wanted that outside inherited to the following generations of both families and once again the destiny it is in charge to impose they whim, without concerning the will of these families.
I emphasize the performance of Lilibeth Morillo mainly, definitively one of the great actresses of our times. Hopefully and more productions with this level became. Thanks to all those that made possible this work.
