I was in this film as an actor, so my comments may be tainted. I have been in three films. This film, "Race" by Brent Lestage, "The Snow Field" by Peter Coston, and "The Fallen" by Ari Taub's. All three films were WWII based. As part of the Living History Association's WWII Committee, we get called very often to do films like this. Brent was a pleasure to work with. Very professional easy going and willing to accommodate the actors and crew. This film was shot over many days and Brent saw that things were all in place. This film has a lot of heart. Like the "The Snow Field" , "Race" puts you right in there with the people and makes you feel like you were that person. Very close and personal. Excellent work. Very well filmed. The "Black and White" feature adds drama and atmosphere to the film. It emphasizes the 'past' and the color brings you to 'present day'. Brent Lestage is a director that the Living History Association would enjoy doing another film with.
