So he talked him to death?

Warning: Spoilers
This is a six-minute animated short film from the director who also made "The Gruffalo's Child" and worked on a couple other not entirely unknown films in other positions. The writers here are Badesalz, a German comedy duo and I believe they also voiced the characters in here, but I am not completely sure about that. Anyway, the lead character here is Hessi James, a bug that talks too much (for its enemies). This helps him a lot, probably saves his life when he runs into a violent bug at a saloon. Yes, all the characters in here are bugs indeed. But, it's really just 3 of them, the two I mentioned and another who works at the saloon. I have to say, the animation was okay, but in terms of the story, this was a really forgettable film and the final twist doesn't even make sense. Oh yeah and if you are not a German native speaker, you will have a really hard time here. The movie relies on one of the characters speaking so quickly that you have no chance to understand it and people will probably also not be very motivated to make subtitles for it. Then again, you're not missing much. Not recommended. Oh yeah and a final note about the film's title: "Hessi" is a reference to the local origins of Badesalz as Hesse is a certain part of Germany.
