Entertaining plot, good actors, funny. Atmosphere has perfect match to Christmas time.

Usually these "Christmas calendar" - series are pretty boring and predictable. This was an interesting exception though. Base plot is exciting and actors brings lots of humor to it with their half English - half Finnish language. Relaxed atmosphere fits to Christmas and this series boosts it nicely bringing some spices within. Original and funny ideas from the Danish creator Carsten Knudsen and Finnish director Jukka Virtanen has converted it better than well. "The Joulukalenteri" is watchable for everyone. Each age group from grand children's to grand parents have liked this what I've heard. Only bad thing is I haven't found DVD's made of it yet.

Really good Christmas Calendar.

This is Finnish Christmas calendar. Characters of this calendar are Kauko, Toivo, Hande, Pentti Niiksen Aka. Näsä, Kerttu and Olli. I've seen this calendar years ago and i have this on videotape. You can watch this in youtube. Characters are speaking Finnish and English. It sounds funny, but great. This calendar starts today and this is third time when it comes. I think this is coming in DVD and thats great. Everyone must see this. Jukka Virtanen is very good director. Every episodes starts "Oli synkkä ja myrkyinen yö". In English it's "It was dark and stormy night". This TV-series is best in Finland. You will love it, if you watch it(go in Youtube). Good Christmas everyone! Hope you're Christmas is full of gifts and happiness.
