Akira Toriyama has given a lot of thought to his magnum opus, the Dragon Ball series where he tells the story with his mighty and lovable protagonist, Son-Goku. Throughout the series’ run, the character has continuously surprised us as he pushed beyond his physical limits and showcased to the fans what it means to break past your limits. Such was the case when he transformed into Super Saiyan for the very first time.

Before becoming our beloved Ken and doing big in Hollywood, Ryan Gosling shared the screen as a child actor with late Hollywood icon Burt Reynolds in 1996’s Frankenstein & Me. Reynolds was known to be not a very friendly face back then. However, when he showed a different attitude to Gosling, the latter thought he succeeded in impressing his high-profile co-star.
Nevertheless, the happiness was short-lived for the Notebook actor. Gosling was shocked to realize that Reynolds’ affectionate behavior was not meant for him but targeted at his mother, Donna Gosling.
Burt Reynolds in Boogie Nights
The late Burt Reynolds was one of the biggest Hollywood stars and rocked the pop culture world of the 1970s. It was not wrong for Ryan Gosling to attempt to strike a friendship with his much-experienced co-star. Regardless, the scenario played out a bit differently than he expected.
How did Donna Gosling steal Ryan Gosling’s spotlight?...

Ryan Gosling’s rise and fame came from his ability to play characters across genres and shine equally. The actor, however, is trying to limit and filter out the roles he plays. Of course, lately, Gosling has been doing lighter movies, while doing fairly great with his recent movies including claiming Oscar nominations for his roles in La La Land and Barbie, fans would want to see him in intense thrillers again.

The nature of movies does have an impact on actors. Gosling recently revealed that limiting movie roles with the inherent nature of intensity in the narrative affects not only the actor but everyone surrounding him. Gosling has been turning down psychologically twisted roles, and it will certainly upset fans, but he has a good reason behind it.

Ratings were continuing to climb for the 96th annual Oscars that took place March 12, especially following the all-time lows of the pandemic years. With Jimmy Kimmel returning for his fourth stint as host and second in a row, reviews were upbeat for the most part and the show benefited from a good movie year with blockbusters like Barbie and Best Picture winner Oppenheimer.

Emily Blunt and Ryan Gosling currently have the whole world by storm with their next project that will also mark their first collaboration, The Fall Guy. With an unarguable chemistry between the two with an extra punch of sarcasm, the pair — who were notably two of the leads of the Barbenheimer phenomenon — have been busy promoting this very project as well.
Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt in The Fall Guy (2024).
But this promotion doesn’t seem to be going all too well, for Gosling is still stuck in his Ken-era, and this fact isn’t sitting well with Blunt. Thus, the Oppenheimer actress made it evident that she had more than just enough of her co-star still singing praises of Margot Robbie’s gem from 2023, Barbie while promoting their new movie together!

Ryan Gosling visited “The Tonight Show” ahead of his latest hosting stint on “Saturday Night Live” and spoke about his internet-breaking live performance of “I’m Just Ken” at the Oscars last month. Asked by host Jimmy Fallon if it was an immediate yes when the Academy called him up to request he perform the “Barbie” original song live during the ceremony, Gosling said his answer was “100% no.”
“There’s a lot of ways that could go wrong,” Gosling said.
But the performance went very right. Gosling, bathed in pink lighting and wearing a sparkling pink suit and pink gloves, started singing “I’m Just Ken” while in the audience sitting behind Margot Robbie. He then made his way to the stage, where he was joined by Mark Ronson and Slash on guitars. His fellow Ken actors Simu Liu, Scott Evans, Ncuti Gatwa and Kingsley Ben-Adir joined the armada of backup dancers behind Gosling.
