One of the best games for the Atari

Rated E(Contains Mild Violence) Battlezone is in my opinion one of the best games for the Atari system.It was released in 1980 yet the graphics are simply excellent.Your tank looks really good and the other graphics in this game are great.I think this game has the best graphics of any Atari video game.The gameplay is somewhat fun also.You basically drive around in a tank trying to destroy other tanks.The praise comes from the graphics more than the gameplay.The gameplay is normal for the Atari but the graphics are great in my opinion.In my opinion Battlezone is the best Atari game.

Patience and strategy

This was the first arcade game to require those qualities of a player instead of the usual reflex and dexterity.

Classic monochrome green. I enjoyed this one in the pool hall in 1980. It still stands as one of my all time favorites, though I have only played it once in the last 20+ years.

Enemy tanks and radar display. It's your movements and spatial perception of objects not seen on screen, plus accurate anticipation of unseen trajectories that will get you ahead here.

If you employ some trickery, that will get you even further.
