A awful, empty series about a self-centric man doing the army
boycop24 July 2006
The title of the series tries to be funny (eng. Saving Private Hytönen) but is totally misgiving. Do not expect any real drama of life in the Finnish Army.

Neither is the series a funny satire of Finnish military life, but excellent evidence that a truly unfunny, boring and self-obsessed person "Private Hytönen" might get a whole TV series (of empty crap) in Finland. The whole production relies upon the goodwill of the Finnish army, which allowed this series to be filmed on real locations. Probably nobody understood, neither in the production crew or in the Finnish Army, that real locations does not mean the same thing as actual contents.

Please save us from this misery!
