OA, The Movie

A story about two sisters and the men around them. The older sister, played by Maricel Soriano, is somewhat of an old maid. After a meetup with her unhappy married friends, she happens to come by with her old flame and reignited their decade old romance.

The younger sister, played by Jolina Magdangal, learns a simple lesson about the difference between infatuation and true love.

The story of this film is fine for the most part. ITs your average cute-sy Filipino romance comedy. It has that zig-zags of relations and quirky performance but that last third is just too intense for no reason.

Soriano's Doris just went to the rafters, suddenly turning into a self-involved monster when she discovers her younger sister is actually in a relationship. It was not a welcome change as it made an average comedy and insane melodrama of no sense.

It really devolved the nice light nature of the early part of the film AND threw it for some cheap-shot melodrama that is better for TV Viewing.

Not recommended.
