Acceptable couples porn
"Pillow Talk" from Adam & Eve, not to be confused with a competing Wicked picture with this title, is merely okay Life Style Porn made by Roy Karch. He was an off-again/on-again director and this one is on the borderline. As was considered hip at the time, in lame-duck wake of Spike Lee inventing the practice, this release was called a "Roy Karch Riff".
It deals with two couples at a resort, and their non-adventures there, which include mainly sex. The other folks at the resort are folded into the sexual batter to fill out the running time.
This sort of interpersonal relations story was quite popular in the Softcore Sixties, especially as changing social and marital patterns were emerging. Here in XXX land it emerges as trite, carried as usual merely by the power of the sexual athletes in the cast.
Clearly Shayla LaVeaux (oddly misspelled a couple of times by Adam & Eve despite her stardom at the time) and a not-yet buxom Lezley Zen are worthy arousers, and Brittney Skye, just as she was becoming a ubiquitous gonzo favorite in the Jenna Jameson lookalike sweepstakes, contributes a sex scene.
Most unusual gimmick is casting the real-life team of Michelle and Johnny St. James as a couple at the resort, giving the overall film the feel of a pro-am experience. They were pros, but flying way under the radar - I had to add them to the IMDb credits for the feature.
