With Desperate Housewives sitting out the night, NBC was back on top of the Sunday standings with solid performances from dramas Law & Order: Criminal Intent and Crossing Jordan. ABC was way off of its game with a weak turnout for its 9-11 p.m. Dynasty: The Making of a Guilty Pleasure telefilm, which brought in only 5.9 million viewers and 2.2 rating/5 share in the adults 18-49 demographic from 9-11 p.m., according to preliminary estimates from Nielsen Media Research. Criminal Intent hit its second-highest marks of the season in the 9 p.m. hour, where it has trailed ABC's red-hot Housewives since the latter show arrived on the scene in October. Criminal Intent was the night's most-watched program with an average of 14.9 million viewers and a 4.8/11 in adults 18-49.
