The real people
TBJCSKCNRRQTreviews3 November 2009
This is one of the three featurettes on the DVD for Twisted. It consists of interviews, behind the scenes footage and clips from the film. In this, we meet an actual female inspector working in Homicide(and she's got an awful lot of charisma; I'd wager she could carry one of these documentaries all on her own), as well as a psychologist, and both have a lot to offer(and utterly outshine the actors and crew in this), not only relating to the movie itself. There is some love-fest going on, and this doesn't distance itself entirely from being a piece of promotion. It is rather informational, however. The two technical advisors share a ton about their area of expertise, and what they have to say is genuinely interesting, whether you've watched the flick or not(and if you're not going to). This doesn't really spoil anything in it. The editing is good, and this is well-paced, never at risk of losing your attention at any point during the 10 minute running time, provided that what this deals with is something you care about. Apart from a couple of (gruesome) images, there is nothing offensive in this. I recommend this to anyone who wants to know more about the subject. 7/10
