This is a nice ride at Epcot (but I wouldn't advise going on it if you've recently eaten!) But this is mostly a note to say that no matter how many times someone adds her name on this site after it has been removed, Parminder Nagra isn't in it. There is a British/Asian female, but it is not Parminder Nagra, and doesn't even look or sound anything like her.
The experience begins as you queue, with wonderful NASA memorabilia (along with some "imagineered" Disney stuff including a giant space wheel); you enter the "mission briefing" room where the commander (Gary Sinise) and his assistant (not Parminder Nagra) tell you what's going to happen and warn you not to ride if you have any kind of health condition, and then you move along to the pre-launch area where you are assigned your role in the mission - commander, navigator, engineer or pilot.
You enter the "space craft" and through clever tricks it creates very large centrifugal forces which really give the impression that you're taking off, flying through space, and eventually landing (you watch a viewscreen while flying). Naturally, you meet an obstacle or two on your way! Not for the faint-hearted, but great fun.
