Paul O'Grady is one of my favourite comedians, I love him best when he's playing Lily Savage but even without the drag act the man is a genius with comedy. His teatime chat show does well in the ratings and deservedly so, it's always very entertaining featuring a great lineup of guests and fun and games. My favourite bit is when they play "guess the theme tune" using the organ. Paul also brings his dogs onto the show with him and even once brought his pet lamb in from his farm. The real star of the show though is Paul's dog Buster who is on more than his other dogs. I hope this show has many a new series to come as it's the best teatime offering for a long while and easily outranks that boring Richard and Judy show that Channel 4 have on at the same time.

The weird voiced comedian best known for playing the nasty Lily Savage now his own mid-day chat show, beating Richard & Judy, it even won a BAFTA. Paul O'Grady is just the perfect host for this show who makes us laugh, gives us competitions and invites some very good guests. He obviously gets more viewers than Richard & Judy because he is more watchable, and he deserved the BAFTA (although it would have been nice if it was TV Burp), he was also nominated a National Television Award. A Lively Yet Entertaining Chat Show That People Of All Ages Can Enjoy

Known to many of us in the UK for his on stage antics as Lily Savage in drag, Liverpudilian Paul O'Grady has proved to have made the successful transition from an adult stand-up act to a family friendly TV presenter. The Paul O' Grady show is a one hour chat show where celebrity guests drop by and talk about their latest book, film, TV show to name, as well as the playing the odd games, such as 'guess the theme tune' and even features appearances by some animals; most notably they include Paul's very own dog Buster, who has become something of a cult figure in the show.
As a presenter, O'Grady himself brings a lot of flamboyancy and silliness to the chat show format, which is usually renowned as being very formal and straight-to-the point, which in itself, is rather boring to watch. It works well a) because this is a light entertainment programme after all and b)he is able to combine his comedic talents with a particular style of presenting, which is refreshing and different in contrast to other so-called celebrity-based chat shows. O'Grady looks like he is enjoying himself and his humorous banter offers a somewhat off-the wall perspective on the chat show format that is mildly appealing and entertaining to watch.
Even though the show is aimed at older audiences, the Paul O'Grady Show can be enjoyed by everyone, regardless: it is as I said entertaining, colourful, amusing and likable at the same time. It did well on ITV1, and it's still doing well on Channel 4, thanks mainly to the brilliant efforts of O' Grady himself as the host.
Definitely worth watching.

Wow well Paul O'Grady in general is an amazingly loving, warm-hearted funny guy and him having his own chat show is a laugh riot. Everyone may think that because it is on in the region of "daytime" telly that it is for older people and in a respect a lot of older people do watch it but it is only because they find him and his sense of humour and absolute breath of fresh air. Personally I think he could do a late night show as well, he would really pull it off. Giving a deserving guy his own chat show works and it really has worked. O don't think anyone would have known that this show would be as great and as phenomenal as it is!WELL DONE ITV a decent chat show!
