The work of Brian Paulin who wrote, directed, acted in, composed the music for and edited this video. Standard story of the dead reanimated by some terrible meddling by stupid humans. Paulin has incorporated some odd quirks: the dead bleed profusely even though they are all rotted and supposedly embalmed; for some reason he believes that when people are cut they spurt blood in a constant jet like a water fountain and his walking dead, barely able to totter along possess the strength to rip open a human skull or rib cage. Oh, well, its his picture so he gets to make the rules.
Paulin plays a morgue orderly who dabbles in alternative medicine and tries to cure his penniless dying friend with concoctions made of cadavers while also romancing his pals wife. Is he trying to cure or kill him? After watching the film I'm still not sure. The story is mighty thin but the real stars are the effects anyway. Working on a tiny budget, he has created some of the most realistic and revolting effects you will ever see in a gore movie. Beheadings, evisceration's, mutilations of every kind, burning people, exploding people, car crashes, maggots and worms expelled from every possible orifice, its all here and quite convincing. Not a picture for everyone but if you are into pushing the gore envelope to the max, you may enjoy the show.
