WoW! Just when we thought the bad movie games would end!
RingofWater10 July 2005
Warning: Spoilers
Unfortunately people the only thing "INCREDIBLE" about this video game is it's lack of ..... I don't know.... enjoyability I guess would be the word. This game was so bad that it would be easier to say the obvious few good things about it, which would be the storyline; if it weren't so intact with the movie (which was actually incredible!) then I might not be able to say even one good thing about it.

First of all let me say that I loved this movie and hope that they make another one soon, but I'll go ahead and start with the screwy game design, I mean before I bought the game I never figured that I would end up playing through so much of it with the Mr.Incredible. But I suppose they did that so that you can actually use someones powers, because let's face it besides the mom's boring stretching ability there aren't any other powers being used.

Dash can petty much only be used for extremely difficult dodging and jumping for his very few levels.

And Violet (my favorite character), who I had actually hoped to use her powers and abilities the most, was basically useless. I had hoped that at some point, somewhere I could use her actual force Field attack, but instead I got invisibility.

The graphics had a slippery feel to them and fighting enemies was mostly knocking a man or two over in one hit.... most of the time not killing them making it a long, difficult process to defeat simple henchmen (since there aren't any ground attacks).

And I swear that the mom's favorite line; "Super!" still rings out in my head uncontrollably, along with the other 6 or 7 typical super hero mom lines that should be witty but aren't.

It would also help if we actually had some enemy health bars. What ever happened to those. Since hitting an enemy only once can knock them away we could at least see if they;re dead, sadly i even found myself standing at a spot wondering if the guy i just hit with my pinkie is dead or unconscious.

The ever-changing strength of the powers was also a problem for me, for example Mr.Incredible is strong enough to jump from one sky scraper to another but can't simply jump from one falling floor board in the burning building to the next? These are only a few problem out of a painfully long list of flaws; the none-stop spontaneous comments from every playable character, the misdirected attacks, the pointlessly long processes for simple actions. Sucha as turning this large knob to turn that off, then quickly running to the other knob 40 yards across the room, to turn off the power for another knob, by the time u make it to your destination the first knob is reactivated, having wasted all of your time.

To conclude; we have had our fair share of bad games based from movies as seen by Charlie's angels 2, Bad Boys 2, Catwoman, and pretty much all of the Harry Potter's. But I oddly believed that this would be different since the movie was just SO awesome. But I guess sticking to games such as X-men Legends, the Resident Evils, and heck even the Tekken series (all games not based off of box Office hits, not referring to Catwoman of course), will have to do for me from now on people.

Get the DVD not the game!

Well, Is there going to be a sequel or not!!!!
chaweber16 November 2005
whats the use of a web site like this if you guys hardly answer questions. Its been how long since the movie came out and still no answer on whether or not there will a second incredible's. When you make a movie like the incredible's and end it the way you did, there must be a sequel in making, close to or already done. So when are we going to get any clues. Look at spider-man and the way they ended it, look how quick they were to say there will be a second. If there is a second in the making it must be pretty big and if it is I hope it don't let a lot of people down. Everyone wants to see Jac- Jack again in action. Don't let us down.
