Sex & Nudity

- Infrequent mild sexual innuendo, usually coming from Daxter and Tess.
- Much like Jak II, the game involves Dead or Alive-style jiggle physics, particularly from female characters such as Ashlin and Tess.
- Daxter says that Jak beats things all the time and then laughs. This is secretly referring to Jak "beating his meat." AKA, masturbation.
- Daxter and Tess flirt a lot in their encounters. Jak and Ashelin kiss at the end of the game, however only their legs and Daxter are shown.
Violence & Gore

- Like in Jak II, you can eliminate innocent civilians in the game without penalty, unless the Krimzon Guards may spot you assaulting someone. This is bloodless, all the civilians are adults and their bodies disappear when killed. However, some civilians have guns and will fight back while other civilians run away when attacked.
- There is no blood in the game, players may also get Jak or Daxter killed in all kinds of ways that are all non-realistic.
- A man is crushed under a truck, Men are forced to battle to the death in the Arena, Errol is exploded whilst inside a Terraformer, A wastelander is found dead in a sandstorm, Haven City is assaulted, and the Palace is destroyed. It is implied that many people die during the Haven war.
- Combat happens by foot or by car and both action sequence involve ammunition and explosions in a fantasy or science fiction setting.
Profanity

- Vulgar word's like 'ass', 'piss' and 'crap' are used, but very infrequently.
- 'Pussy' is said by Baron Praxis, via bonus features.
- Mild obscenities such as when Dexter gave Pecker 'the bird' gesture on one scene. (His hand is off-camera)
- Religious profanities are heard infrequently.

- There is a bar and entertainment venue located in the Industrial Section of the Port of Haven City called The Naughty Ottsel Saloon.
- Jinx is a smoker
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- The Terraformer that Errol controls at the climax of the game could be considered frightening to young players.
