- One of the main female characters wears a revealing outfit that exposes her buttocks; in a CGI scene the camera lingers at her exposed rear for several seconds.
- Almost every female character wears a revealing outfit, exposing bare legs, very deep cleavage, midriff, hips or parts of the buttocks.
Violence & Gore

- Blood can be switched to a more sandy yellow colour, however it cannot be completely removed
- Enemies can be decapitated, bisected in the middle and split from head to groin. There is blood spray but organs and other gory details aren't shown as their bodies quickly dissipate into sand upon death.
- Once in a weakened state, enemies can be grabbed and executed. The Prince can either strangulate and snap their necks, slice their stomachs open or stab them in the back before decapitating them.
- During combat, the Prince fights mostly humanoid enemies throughout the game. He can impale, smash or slice them using a large array of weapons. Limbs rarely get cut off, but the Prince can easily chop off the enemies' heads, slice their abdomen open or cut them in half. Blood sprays when any of the dismemberment/decapitations occur.
- Weapons can be thrown, in certain cases the camera follows the thrown weapon as it hits the targets' neck, decapitating it, closeup and onscreen.
- The Prince uses grapple, hand to hand combat and kicks enemies off cliffs, into walls, or onto the ground. He can follow his kick-to-ground with a stab to the enemies' chest.
- Several creatures are quite scary-looking and/or gory in appearance. The main antagonist is a large, dark mass with big curved horns. It chases the Prince in some sequences and the Prince has to escape. Another creature that makes several appearances is a humanoid that seems to be rotting.

- Distant agonized screams of tortured captives can be heard echoing in the prison area.

- The game's theme, locations and music are very dark. Some players may find it unsettling at times.
