Contemporary telling of the tale of the blind men and the elephant
stanleyfried30 October 2006
Warning: Spoilers
I saw this film in 1972 at a screening in San Francisco that included the Idries Shah episode "Dreamwalkers" from the BBC series "One Pair of Eyes". "The Dermis Probe" is a short film animated by Richard Williams, who is, perhaps, best known for his animation on "Who Framed Roger Rabbit".

"The Dermis Probe" updates the original tale to reveal the blindness inherent in contemporary cultures. The script is included in Shah's book of the same name. The film has a strong impact on the viewer mixing humor, philosophy, and sanity in a brief animated encounter.

This would be wonderful to see available for general viewing.
