Great Intro to the World of Latin Cooking, 30 lokakuu 2006
Author: chakkuri from Orlando, FL
Being of Latin descent but growing up here in the USA, I never really learned how to properly cook the Latin dishes I savored at family gatherings and local restaurants. Then along came Daisy! "Daisy Cooks" is a wonderful introduction to the delectable dishes of Puerto Rico, Cuba, the Dominican Republic and other countries of Latin America. Daisy Martinez herself is a vivacious and entertaining hostess. Her bubbly personality and high energy makes this program even more enjoyable to watch. I especially love when she takes viewers to her favorite spots in NY.
Most of the recipes I've seen featured thus far look relatively easy to make. Both my husband and I have successfully tried out some of her recipes (pernil, alcapurrias, etc).
Hopefully there will be a second season of "Daisy Cooks." I, for one, will be tuned in!
