This made for TV hour long special takes place five years after the events of the live action PGSM series, all the characters are through school and out in the real world. They are all coming back together for...mamaru's and usagi's wedding!!!! A very lame villain and plot device is then used to cause conflict and delay the happy ending. First there's a misunderstanding that causes usagi to get angry and call off the wedding. Then, a villain from before comes back and capture mamaru and usagi, wanting to marry mamaru herself. The sailor scouts get to become sailor scouts one last time before saying goodbye for good. All in all there were some great character scenes, but the action and main plot problem were not that original, very predictable and overdone. Yet seeing the characters lives after the sailor scouts was really enjoyable and the ending is satisfying. Anyone who was obsessed with the cartoon or live action series will enjoy this special for those reasons alone.
