The Upsell is a short film with excellent production values, these are not let down by the cast. Randall (the lead, I forgot whom the actor is) manages to capture each scene with an array of facial expressions that you would not expect in such a short film. The film follows Randall in a nightclub chatting up a girl only to be taken back to her house for a surprise... The scene with Randall in the nightclub is classic, good direction and an excellent performance by the led who conveys a young over confident man only too well. The only bad thing I can stay about the actor was his haircut, stuck in the eighties. Although I think this actor would be excellent in the led roll if they ever do a film adaptation of the classic Australian children's novel of determination "King of the Pool" The overall direction of this film is excellent, I look forward to seeing more of Nathan's work.
