Sex & Nudity

- Throughout the game, scenes of the movie are shown. In one clip you see Neo and Trinity laying on a "bed" nude (this is from a distance. If you blink, you may miss it. Also, it is only seen for hardly a second.)
- A girl you have to rescue is seen chained to a metal bunk, with three or four men around her. They're growling, and looking at her. After you rescue her, she says that she would make it up to you, but it's the wrong place and she doesn't feel like it.
- She's seen in a later mission, wearing a very short dress that reveals a fair amount of cleavage. She asks for your help in a mission, saying that she'll "make it up to you." Although nothing happens, it's suggestive.
Violence & Gore

- Violent scenes from the film are shown in the cutscenes including: Trinity being shot with sight of the bullet piercing her stomach with a bloody impact. A man being bloodily impaled onscreen with a falling metal pole. Bane being kicked in the face resulting in his face becoming heavily bloodied.
- 98% of the game is violent. Most of the violence involves fists or guns.
- When you shoot someone, no blood is really seen, but if you look down at them once their dead, you can see a tiny bit of blood where they were shot.
Profanity

- 'Fuck' is said 4 times briefly during one of the cutscenes that uses footage from The Matrix Reloaded (2003). They can be quite hard to hear to begin with, which leaves the game's age rating at a T.
- Strong language is heard during one of the songs playing in the end credits
- The game has as much profanity as the films do, if not more. Words like "Shit", "Bitch", "Damn", "Asshole" and "Bastard" are used. Childish name calling is also used (Moron, idiot, Stupid, Shut-up, etc).
- By the time you've played the whole game through, you'll probably heard close to 50-80 swears.
- A teenaged girl swears close to 20 times in one level. Agents swear lightly, but on occasion, trinity swears once or twice, you hear Neo swear once or twice, and several other people (thugs, and baddies in general, swear a bit also.)
- The teenaged girl is also in another level, and she swears a couple times (about 10 times) in the beginning cutscene of that level.
- A heckler says "Give me a great big W.T.F.". The word is abbreviated as in the quote and isn't fully said.
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking
