Factual errors: Dr. Blackwell, the gross anatomy professor, is listed as an M.D., having his doctorate in medicine. However, Gross Anatomy, and all the other basic science courses in medical school (such as histology, physiology, biochemistry, immunology, microbiology, genetics, embryology, and neuroanatomy) are taught entirely by Ph.D.'s who have specialized in the respective fields. Physician professors are used for clinical education courses.

I could see why this movie could be overlooked. When I think about all the films in the Afterdark Horrorfest series, this isn't exactly the first that comes to mind. It's just a really unnoticeable film, and to me, I thought it was just a little unimportant to the Afterdark Horrorfest movies. While this film "WAS" good, it wasn't good enough to leave an impact on the spectator. First of all, it starts off a little slow, and it doesn't start getting interesting for awhile. When it finally does get interesting, there are no intense or suspenseful scenes. Near the end, it gets slow again, and it just doesn't finish like you'd hoped it would. I don't see why this film has won more awards than all the other Afterdark Horrorfest films, because it isn't the best of the series, but it was good, and I did enjoy watching it. I'm glad I had the chance to see it.
