desi usual suspects...
ig_ilangovan16 September 2005
The best part of this movie i the way it captures London in winter...not just the buildings but the spirit manages to enter the frame !! The movie is inspired from usual suspects with the hot scene of basic instinct thrown in for good measure... It is difficult to believe 20 billion pounds being transferred with no escort cars !!! but this movie wants you to believe that apart from a lot of stories with holes more than any pound of swiss cheese will have !!! Tanushree Dutta sure has it to make it big., hope she makes some good career choices...Irrfan, Arshad, Emraan( for a change no kisses !!) all OK, Anil simply doesn't know what over the top acting is all about... Sushma makes a debut rather late in her career and unless many of her scenes are in editing floor, it is rather a sad debut... The redeeming feature is the ending where it differs from usual suspects and the ending is actually a happy one at that !! 3 out of 5...

Unintelligible
ashokli15 July 2006
Warning: Spoilers
While it is fairly obvious that the movie is blatantly adapted from the classic "Usual Suspects", its narration makes it impossible to understand what's going on and where the story starts or ends.

Individual characters seem to appear, disappear, die and become alive without any obvious reason or time-line. The lawyer Krishna Pandit (Anil Kapoor) goes in and out of scenes acting as if he owns the movie but does nothing more than rave and rant. In one scene he gets an 80 page fax thats spitting out at the speed of a high speed photocopy machine and we never know what it contains or why its important.

The only cute thing in the movie is Monsoon but she does not have much to do.

The Objectification of Tanushree Dutta!
Sherazade2 August 2006
Warning: Spoilers
That's the only thing that made sense in this movie. Trust me, I couldn't give the away the plot to this movie even if I tried, it's that bad. It's one of the worse things to come out of Bollywood in recent years, yet it still boast a stellar cast and with what at first seemed to be a promising storyline. Tanurshee Dutta, appearing in her second film with Emran Hashmi plays a prostitute named Simran Chopra and let me just tell you this, the director spares not expense is objectifying her. From her skimpy clothes in freezing London weather, to sleeping around with everybody under the sun, to sleazy dance numbers and indoor rain scenes, I'm sure guys would have not been bored watching this film. There's even a scene in which she attempts to pull a "SHARON STONE A LA BASIC INSTINCT LEG UNCROSSING SCENE" to reveal a tattoo on her inner thigh, it was so drastic. Poor girl, all the time they were making her seduce Anil Kapoor's character (a man more than twice her age) and Suniel Shetty, I just kept wondering if that sort of nonsense would have happened to the ones in Bollywood with Filmi Backgrounds. Ms. Dutta endured a lot all in the name of fame in this film. Poor, poor girl indeed.

Oh! and what's with the extras with funny accents? Bollywood needs to stop this nonsense! When you're in London, get extras with authentic accents not bad actors with weird inapplicable accents, for instance the judge's accent was just too weird to handle, there is no way that she could be a judge in the British judicial system. Oh! and let's not talk about the Mafia's accents, the cops and the street beggars! The best acting I have seen by an extra in any Bollywoof film is probably Emma Bunton who plays Anna, Anil Kapoor's secretary and very well. The former spice girl may just have found her calling in Bollywood films, as I understand this isn't the only film she has appeared in.

There was another thing that bothered me with this film and it has to do with the scene in the underground parking lot, with a woman, her child and their car. Is it at all believable that the woman would have entered the car started the engine, shut the door and be ready to drive off while her little daughter was still playing with a ball outside of the car??? Come on Bollywood! I fell down laughing and crying when I saw that scene! And do not get me started on the songs in the film, there's only one good one entitled 'Mummy Ko Nahin' and performed very well by Simran (Dutta's character). The worse song in the film is by far 'Jhuki, Jhuki' performed by the worst and sluttiest looking item girl I have ever seen. My four star rating of the film are split between Emma Bunton's performance in the movie and Tanushree Dutta's performance on 'Mummy Ko Nahi', I would have otherwise given the film an awful rating. Irfan Khan's talent is hopeless wasted in the movie.

Terrible n appalling copy of Usual Supects.
Fella_shibby16 March 2022
This terrible movie was made in 2005 n i put up a review in 2022 and it gets reported n deleted. That means fascist fanboys are at it again.

Burn pigs burn.

I saw this in 2005 in a theatre. This cannot be called a poor man's Usual Suspects cos it is a terrible movie with appalling direction.

I can't fathom how Emraan Hashmi, Arshad Warsi, Sunil Shetty n Irfan Khan agreed for this atrocious movie.

Did they not kno that it is a copy of Usual Suspects. Were they not aware of the pathetic director's behavior towards female actors. Abysmal copy of Usual Suspects.

The worst remake of 'Usual Suspects'
jahangirhussain7430 June 2010
Newcomer director Vivek Agnihotri took the plunge of directly ripping-off the Hollywood hit 'Usual Suspects' in Bollywood as the lame excuse for a movie called 'Chocolate'.

Nothing is in the right place in this movie. Be it acting, storytelling, hard-hitting dialogues or even the screenplay. No loose ends are tied in the end. No explanations are provided for the actions of the characters. We never get to know why do these five friends (Irfan Khan, Suniel Shetty, Emraan Hashmi, Arshad Warsi and Tanushree Dutta) keep committing one crime after another. No explanations have been provided for the eccentricities of the lawyer, Krish Pundit (played by Anil Kapoor). Why does the character of Monsoon Iyer (played by Sushma Reddy) acts like Anil Kapoor's Personal Assistant if she is a crime reporter? And Krish Pundit says that he doesn't care if the characters of Irfan Khan and Tanushree Dutta are guilty or innocent. Still, he wants them to tell him the true story linking them to the boat incident and truck robbery! After all, he is their lawyer and he's bound to fight for their cause even if they're lying to him or not saying anything at all.

Music is pleasing to the ears. 'Mummy ko nahi hai pata' and 'halka halka' are the picks of the lot. Editing could've been sharper.Probably the editor was sleeping throughout the whole movie. Cinematography is awesome. If 'Chocolate' scores in any department it would be in the cinematography department as the beauty of London and its winter had been captured to the fullest. Vivek Agnihotri should be applauded for attempting something different but the problem lies in his execution. He doesn't know how to tell a story.

'Chocolate' is the worst remake of 'Usual Suspects' which was a success at the box-office and was declared a classic. I would recommend that you rather borrow the DVD of 'Usual Suspects' instead.

someone must stop them...
amarbandgar-120 September 2005
I saw director Vivek Agnihotri saying that "this film you can show around the world and proudly say that this is Indian cinema... this film is for intelligent people...". i went to see and i found that its a DUBBED version of Usual Suspect.

after HUM TUM ( harry met sally), salam namaste( nine months)now it is CHOCOLATE (ususal Suspect). i don't understand the logic of these directors...i think Indian government should stop releasing English movies in India so we can feel bollywood movies are original, and we can save our money.

the answer of each director over this is same...its inspired...or ....its just coincident....well chocolate is not inspired it is clone of usual suspect. the director beat Mr. Deepak Tijori (KHAMOSH/IDENTITY). thats what i can say.

The usual Chocolate
tauri_acti20 September 2005
2 minutes into the movie, and you know that it is a lift(No, i wont use the word "remake" or "adapted from" because that's what it is, a lift) of "The Usual Suspects". When there was a buzz about "Chocolate" during the build up and ever since we heard about the movie, i expected something else but as it turns out, it's a rehash of the 1995 Hollywood flick. I am OKAY with adaptations and inspirations but what irks me is that they don't even acknowledge the supposed adaptation. Come to think of it, there's no "adaptation" here, it's plain lifting. The end comes as no surprise to anyone who's seen the original. I was also reading Mr. Taran Adarsh's review and believe it or not, even he seemed to like the idea of adapting, he "adapted" from James Berardinelli's review of The Usual Suspects! ("The movie borrows from dozens of sources -- Hitchcock, Scorsese, the Coen brothers and just about every master of the genre, past or present". Check this line out in James' review of the original).

I wont comment on the dialogues and screenplay since there's nothing new here. Anil Kapoor, as the egoistic lawyer, was over the top a few times and his voice-over kind of sounded affected ( "With every case i became smart, smarter, smartest"...cheesy) . Irrfan was expectedly the best among the lot and makes the movie watchable, if only because of his presence. He easily overshadows Anil in their confrontation scenes. His glowering eyes and perfectly restrained performance is a treat to watch. Here's an actor i'll go miles to watch. Arshad Warsi does good in the limited scope that he has. The rest of the cast are alright.

At the end of it, "Chocolate" is not an effort worthy of appreciation.

A rip-off, not a remake, but still entertaining
mh_ccl15 December 2005
Warning: Spoilers
While it's true that this movie is a rip-off of "The Usual Suspects," it is still a highly entertaining Bollywood film. Considering that many Bollywood films don't have plots this intricate, I consider this a good movie.

There are some key differences: the suspect is not being interrogated by investigators; a woman is added to the gang (which makes for better wet-dress dance scenes); and while some elements of the ending are the same, it is (to my mind) a different ending.

I would recommend this movie to people just starting to appreciate Bollywood films: the familiar plot will make it easy to follow, though it ruins the surprise.

Chocolate is a usual suspect.
nikhils17 September 2005
Warning: Spoilers
Chocolate is a shot-by-shot, sometimes scene-by-scene and many times dialogue-by-dialogue rip-off of Bryan Singer's The Usual Suspects. Maybe it was a tribute to that film on it's ten-year anniversary since that was released in 1995. Nevertheless, this movie is an awful rehash. And i am appalled by the director making claims about it's originality and brilliance. It's just shameful. After the movie I did not feel bad about wasting money on this but I was let down because of the unscrupulous nature of the filmmaker. It is just a shame. Of course, there some minor changes, Kobayashi from the original was made into Rashomon (oh turning-in-the-grave bits). Keyser Soze was made into Murtaza Arzaai and the works. This film doesn't deserve any applause. Sorry, Vivek Agnihotri, you are a liar.

Loads of T&A. The acting was good in parts. Anil Kapoor went overboard on some occasions and there were some funny one-liners but nothing which would make you look beyond the lying, cheating and stealing (The Movie Idea that is.) People always complain about the lack of originality in Bollywood nowadays. there isn't a paucity of ideas but due to directors like these. He's a first-time director if I am not mistaken. and instead of breaking the norm, he went ahead and took the plunge. i saw many other reviews in Indian dailies and Indian news websites. not many of them have mentioned anything about this movie being a rip-off. i am totally angered with this dishonesty.

Good time pass
emailraja13 November 2005
Please turn off the logical/critical part of your brain and you'll be ready to enjoy the movie. Compared to usual Bollywood standards, this is a slick flick with respect to editing, cinematography, sound, etc.

Of course, the "Usual Suspects" story has been adapted to suit current events with plenty of vague references to Al Qaeda thrown in, but don't watch the movie for the story. Watch it to while away a lazy Sunday afternoon, when you can't go out, and don't feel like reading a book.

Irfaan Khan should have been cast as Rocker. Sunil Shetty didn't look scary enough. Arshad Warsi did much better than his past roles. Tanushree Dutta is certainly one to look out for. A few more acting classes might help. Lastly, Sushma Reddy's role as an almost caricature-ish sidekick to Krishna Pandit didn't do justice to her talents. She will certainly do better to pick meatier roles.

What a shame this even made to theatres
Odsingh27 December 2005
Before I begin lashing out against this movie, I want to clarify that I am not fully against "Indianized" remakes of Hollywood movies - if done nicely and with some common sense, they can turn out to be decent affairs.

But Chocolate shamelessly treads the path of being a horrible movie that was blatantly taken piece by piece from a class act such as the Usual Suspects. Kaante had glimpses of other great Hollywood movies, but still had a "characer". Nothing here.

At the end of the movie, I was left wondering - was the director just an extra-ordinary idiot or was it just the outrageous murder of a great movie that left me pulling my own hair and cursing out loud.

Anil Kapoor - who is a brilliant actor, mind you - was totally wasted in the movie. Ditto for Irfan Khan - who has given some great performances in the past. Arshad Warsi is usually a delight to watch - but not here sirs! The only person for whom this piece of trash suits is Emran Hashmi - who was his terrible self in the movie.

Simply avoid this at all costs - you will be doing yourself a big favor.

The Usual Movie
Dead_Immortal24 October 2005
This is the Best Indian Movie I saw this Year. The Story was perfect. You won't be able to Guess anything (if you haven't watched TUS)

Well basically I saw the movie last night. I couldn't really stop watching it. even though I had my Exams today.

But Once I reached the End I was Exceptionally satisfied with the End. However I started having a Bad feeling about the movie. I have this sort of feeling when I watched other movies too. Somehow I guessed that it was a clone of TUS though I never Saw TUS in my whole life but I am craving to watch the movie. (Just like the time I saw Saaya before Dragonfly) And Guess what. Today I was reading the Reviews and found many people saying it's a clone.

Anyways I would still recommend the movie to all Viewers Indian and foreign. It's really worth your money.

Could have been a great thriller had it not been for the crappy ending
anjshaik8 February 2006
This is a really good thriller keeps you in suspense throughout the movie ending is shocking but the story could have had more if the ending were different this movie still has the type of stupidity but it is a genius there is good elements in this movie especially the character that Anil Kapoor is obsessed with finding won't reveal the character you just have to watch the movie but it is a great story with only Anil Kapoor and Irfan Khan delivering a good performance the rest are just cheesily hanging around Sunil Shetty is a lso pretty good perofrmance it's a good movie it just lacks some elements which makes it a weak candor but otherwise it's good suspenseful it's enjoyable songs suck but the movie is good the story althoug weakened by the ending

At least TRY to make it look different
myasir118027 September 2005
My wife rented this movie from the local Desi video store (of course it was bootlegged) and I caught bits and pieces of it while she was watching but what caught my attention was right at the end as all was being revealed. I noticed how it was all lifter directly from "The Usual Suspects" and so I asked her to describe the plot to me in as much detail as possible. Her description was exactly the plot in The Usual Suspects. She said it was probably coincidence so to prove it, I had her play the ending scene for Chocolate and then I played the ending on my laptop side by side and lo-and behold, it was identical. It's really disheartening to see Indian movies that are exact copies of Hollywood movies and don't even give credit to the original. People who have not seen the original will tout this as a wonderful movie but those of us who know better see it for what it is, a complete rip off of a wonderful movie.

How not to remake a film
padiyark29 November 2005
Pure trash. That about sums it up. Essentially, this is "The Usual Suspects" done by Bollywood while trying to do a half-baked Tarantino dialogue. This could have been a decent re-make, but the stories do not gel, the acting is horrible, the songs make you vomit ("I am a shot of tequila, but don't tell my mommy"--what class) and the dialogue is some of the most ridiculous to come out of Bollywood. Should be called "Boom Part 2". The problem here is one that Bollywood makes time and time again: try to copy the new western films while trying to put Indian elements in it. Another problem is you try to show that Western ideas only equate to Taliban and and sex, and that does not make a film. Bollywood should stick to the old formula of film naiveté (a la the 70's and late 80's films) and not try to be the next Rodriguez/Tarantino/Singer.

The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist
AvinashPatalay9 June 2010
Innumerable movies have been copied and perhaps "Chocolate" qualifies for the worst when it comes to adapting for Bollywood. For starters, the story line is loaded with complexity. Added to it are the sub-plots which are far too many and should have been trimmed down to aid the comprehension of the Bollywood audience. And the non-linear progression adds to the woes. There are too many unwarranted "sex" references (read that "force-fit"). Basing the London was a bad idea.

Performance wise Anil Kapoor delivers a strong screen-presence. Next is Arshad Warsi. Tanushree Dutta attempts hard to display her "oomph". Emran Hashmi hardly leaves an impact. Sunil Shetty was extremely wooden. Irfan Khan is perhaps the worst considering the expectations that would arise when his name is associated with the project. Sushma Reddy is awful on both department, choice of costumes and acting.

I was amused to the opening credits stating "Inspired Films" presents. I suppose "Plagiarised Films" would more more apt.

Horrible!!
Aditya_Gokhale31 October 2005
I wish Bryan Singer (The Usual Suspects) would somehow see this movie!! I am sure he would pick up a chainsaw and chase the makers of this horrible excuse of a movie called "Chocolate" (ughhhh!!!)...

The original plot of The Usual Suspects has been raped and converted into a really lame story, with some crappy dialogues, crappy acting, crappy songs..etc.!!! I am sure the people who came up with this tripe didn't even grasp the story of The Usual Suspects!!! Just so that it looks "cool" they have successfully carbon-copied some entire sequences and dialogues (translated into Hindi), but in the end the director appears confused and doesn't seem to understand the crap that he created!! I guess the makers of this movie were high when they made this..'cause they have managed to create a perfect piece of trash by mixing the story of The Usual Suspects with their own story!! (Pathetic!!) Vivek Agnihotri and the rest of the people involved with the making of this movie deserve to die!! Avoid at all costs...especially if you are a fan of "The Usual Suspects". I wish there was a law against plagiarism!!! My condolences, Bryan Singer... please take notice!!!

chocolate-don't reveal secrets. By the way, are there any ?
sandhirflora25 September 2005
Warning: Spoilers
Those calling it an edge of the seat thriller in the lines of Hollywood should better do some reality check first. Though I don't blame those who have not seen Bryan Singer directed-"Usual Suspects". When a film is a complete copy of a Brilliant Hollywood potboiler the least one expects is that it should be adapted properly and not like a copy cat with additional inputs lifted from other "phoren" resources. TV serial director turned débutant film director Vivek Agnihotri should have done his homework well, especially when he has done one good thing i.e. lifting the complete plot from the film with little deviations here and there. But when one finally sees this "inspiration" he gets a rude shock as it conveys the same old attitude - 'audience are bunch of fools not exposed enough to Hollywood stuff and just come to watch another movie in order to fool around". Sorry sir, this is not the case today at least, when every Tom, Dick and Harry has an easy access to those pirated DVDs, anytime, anywhere, so what should he expect when he comes to theater? So that he can watch a decent remake. Right ? The missing links are an integral part in the original film served to carry the narrative forward but sadly here you keep guessing till end why the hell they kept it this way. The result is -Unconventional narrative style of original completely gone bizarre here. The film appears too long and it drags on and on. Nonetheless you can have a good laugh at one place when they show a robbery on the move quite like a child's play. Complete acting dept. is bad as if actors were just out for a picnic. I wonder what workshop the actress wife of the director conducting with them? And girls, were they acting? Seriously, I thought they were just freaking around so much so that their character gets into a "slut-mode" even when it is not required. What a pity that they don't even look sensuous which originally they are. The type of language a top Lawyer Anil Kapoor speaks is too amateurish as he do not use any legal terms. Dialogues are bad. There are numerous sick, idiotic references to "woman and sex" which reminds you of those regressive lines an imaginative dialog writer called Milap Zaveri pens every time for Sanjay Gupta films. Any positive factor, oh yes, UK is shot quite well and just the picture quality (not cinematography) is such that the colors, sharpness everything matches to a Hollywood film visuals, which is an achievement if you call so. Finally, What did the slug line of film "Deep dark Secrets" means? Answer lies in probably a line in song of the film " Mummy ko nahi hai pata. Mummy se na kehna" what a strange stuff you have seen!

Not much to do with Chocolate.... but worth a watch
kamdarmihir7 October 2005
this movie is a direct "inspiration" of the Bryan Singer's Usual Suspects. i think this should tell you most of the story. but wait.... is differently made in modern day London and the end is different. Four friends and a girl get into a web of crime and are drawn deeper into a web which is controlled by an omnipotent criminal. no one knows how he looks but he knows everyone. two friends are helped by a lawyer while the others are dead. the two friends narrate incidents to the lawyer which can confuse you somewhat but what the heck. the movie is stylishly made and is full of unpredictable sequences. thats what makes the movie better than what it could have been. all in all it is a better inspiration than the rest

The Usual Suspects remixed
silvan-desouza7 November 2014
Warning: Spoilers
The Usual Suspects(1995) was a superb thriller, which won critical acclaim. In 2002, Sanjay Gupta copied the first half from it and made KAANTE and rest from Reservior Dogs. While in the same year 2005, Anubhav Sinha borrowed Kevin Spacey's role from that film and made DUS.That film kept the climax revelation also same, wherein Pankaj Kapur was actually a terrorist acting like someone else. Finally Vivek Agnihotri decided to remake the film and that too unofficially. The film borrows almost 70% from that film and rest is Bollywood stuff. In the original, Kevin Spacey was the only character revealing the story, here we have an added romantic interest Tanushree Dutta. The film tries to be different too, instead of convicts in the original here we have wannabe musicians. The film tries too hard to look cool, we have actors imitate Hollywood styles. In that film An agent interrogates Kevin, here we have Anil play an egoistic lawyer, who acts like a retard many times. There is sex, sleaze everything forced in. There are scenes copied like the interval scene, the boat scene, also the end is almost similar though changed in the indianised version. The film has several loopholes like Suneil Shetty suddenly screaming that he is Murtaza Arzai for no reason. Keazer Soze is changed to Murtaza Arzai with the similar background story

Direction is decent though it's ruined due to the film being a hotchpotch version of the original. Music by Pritam is decent, Jhuki Jhuki,Halka Halka,Mummy, Bheega Bheega sa are all good songs and well picturisations(though mostly aping English songs), Khalish is a good song yet forced

Amongst actors, all mostly try to copy Hollywood style of acting Anil Kapoor does well as Krish Pandit in his own style though his accent seems odd, also he overdoes at times to show eccentric nature of the character. Irrfan Khan is awesome in the role played by Kevin Spacey, Suneil Shetty does his part well, though his accent too jars, Arshad Warsi and Emraan Hashmi are wasted in small roles, Tanushree Dutta in her second film is okay, her voice dubbed by Pallavi Joshi doesn't suit her, Sushma Reddy is okay Raj Jhutsi overacts, rest are all okay The film has weird names for characters like Rocker, Pipi.etc

A 50-50 Film
Niazbd26 June 2006
It is really tough to understand actually what the hell the Director and the Storywriter tried to prove! To be very honest, at first it attracts me a lot. But, at the end when I got to see that there is no story at all, I was about to slap myself.

Starting was awesome, specially the way they give the intro of each person and gradually they went down and finally became a trash.

Songs are OK, cinematography is also cool. But a film deserves a story which was totally missing.

In Bangladesh we always expect good and classical Hindi films. Karan Johor or Yash Raj films have set up a level and we hope other director will try to touch or cross that level. To do so, they will have to stop making this types of films.

A great movie, if you don't insist on comparing with the Hollywood original!
user-1379423 December 2006
If you are the sort who loves to criticize a Bollywood movie because it's 'inspired' from a Hollywood original, then this one is not for you! If you don't have access to the Usual Suspects DVD and are a Bollywood buff (both of which apply to me!), then this one is definitely for you! This movie is basically all about the story. It's a great thriller with a heart-stopping ending. Anil Kapoor stars in a different role, but hams in parts. Arshad Warsi is, as usual, a delight. Emraan Hashmi, Irfan Khan, Suniel Shetty, Sushma Reddy (debutante) put in good efforts. The only let-down is Tanushree Dutta who, in the absence of acting skills, allows her cleavage to do all the talking. The songs are hummable. Overall the movie has a smooth look and fast pace. A must for Bollywood thriller buffs -- if there are such!

This is a Desi version of a Hollywood movie "The usual Suspects"
kush_mah6 February 2007
Warning: Spoilers
The movie is inspired from A Hollywood movie Starring Kevin spacey, "the usual suspects". The movie has the same ending albeit the scenarios are lil different but the plot is the same. Here Irfan Khan plays the same role that Kevin spacey played in the English version of the film and in the end Anil Kapoor gets to know the real story just like the cop in the English version of the movie. All in all it is a facsimile of the original which directed Kevin spacey to stardom. Thought he film maintained a thrill right till the end and contains a huge twists in the end when Anil kapoor gets to know that he has been cheated, it is a good thriller to watch

What was the director thinking?!
shomen2 March 2006
At the outset, let me make myself very clear on 2 issues. The Usual Suspects is my all time favorite movie and originality is a dying art in Bollywood.

Now for the real issue. What was the dimwit director of this dumbass movie thinking of when he thought he had "conceived the idea" to make a movie? Did he think ripping off a Hollywood masterpiece without any admission of guilt would endear himself to the viewing public? Or, even worse, did he have the audacity to think that no one in the viewing public would have the intellect to understand the original masterpiece? Maybe he made it for the "masses" and thought he was attempting something "different". However, the director must have forgotten that despite the waning excitement got out of foreign locales, the "masses" will rarely warm up to a movie shot entirely in the UK. The least he could've done was to have "Indianised" the entire movie in all ways. Then again, an escapist director would always find the easiest way out right?!

The only reason I have given this stinker of a movie the 2nd star is because instead of making me boil with anger it made me laugh out loud at the pathetic attempt in futility to create a movie!

This one made me write an e-mail to Vivek Agnihotri...
salhadid21 December 2005
Warning: Spoilers
FOR ALL THE WRONG REASONS. Can the Bollywood directors please be original? As soon as I saw the boat explode in the first two minutes of the movie, I new it was a direct copy of The Usual Suspects. About an hour into the movie, I fast-forwarded to the end so that I could see if I was right. I stopped when I saw Keyser Soze..., ...I mean Murturza Arzai..., ...I mean Keyser Soze killing his family and then the kidnappers.
