This is the first video to feature Beethoven music. The second was Neighborhood Animals, the third was World Animals, and the fourth was Baby Beethoven.
All of the Beethoven songs are on the Baby Beethoven CD.
The poem in the pre-credits scene is "Custer The Dragon" by Ogden Nash: "Custer the Dragon had big sharp teeth, with spikes on top of him and spikes underneath; mouth like a fireplace, chimney for a nose, and realio, trulio, daggers on his toes".
The poem for the "Flower" sequence is Oberon's monologue from "A Midsummer Night's Dream: Act II" by William Shakespeare: "I know of a bank where the wild thyme blows, where oxlips and the nodding violet grows, quite overcanopied with luscious woodbine, with sweet musk roses and with eglantine. There sleeps Titania, sometime of the night, lulled in these flowers with dances and delight."
The poem for the "Train" sequence is "A Modern Dragon" by Rowena Bennett: "A train is a dragon that roars through the dark; he wriggles his tail as he sends up a spark. He pierces the night with his one yellow eye, and all the earth trembles when he rushes by."
