Telepictures Prods. has brought in veteran reality producer Stuart Krasnow as Evp Creative Affairs. He will replace Lisa Hackner, who stepped down in March after a 22-year tenure to become a producer, and will report to Telepictures president Hilary Estey McLoughlin. Krasnow will oversee the creation of new programming for first-run syndication business, cable strips and digital. ”Stuart completely understands our business and brings a fresh perspective and entrepreneurial spirit from running his own production company,” Estey McLoughlin said. Krasnow has developed and produced series in almost every genre of unscripted television for broadcast and cable networks, including The Weakest Link, Average Joe, Dog Eat Dog and The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency. Most recently, he has been running his own production company, Krasnow Prods., which had overall production deals with Fox 21 and FremantleMedia. In daytime, Krasnow executive produced Ricki Lake’s original syndicated talk show after identifying her as...

Mia Amber Davis' family was left stunned by her death last Wednesday, May 11, but has recently got a clue on what may have caused her sudden and mysterious passing following a knee surgery. Dr. Mignon R. Moore, a cousin to the late plus-sized model, has told E! News that the 36-year-old died from a blood clot.
Mignon claimed that the coroner has informed Mia's husband Michael Yard about the preliminary finding on Wednesday night. "Nothing has been confirmed but the coroner did tell us that he thinks Mia died from a blood clot related to the knee surgery," she said. "We are just now finding this out that this is all too common and people don't know the risks of arthroscopic surgery. They need to be made aware of the risks."
The "Road Trip" actress' cause of death won't be official for several weeks, pending the toxicology tests results.

Despite how she came off on her since-canceled show, scene-chewing former supermodel Janice Dickinson claims to have had nothing but love for Mia Amber Davis, the model and actress who died suddenly this week, a day after undergoing routine knee surgery. "I really did love her. She knew I was kidding," Dickinson exclusively told E! News Wednesday, referring to her treatment of Davis when she appeared on the fourth season of The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency to audition models for a spread in Plus Model magazine. Dickinson insists that she was so hard-core against the plus-size gals purely for dramatic effect. And, she says, Davis knew beforehand that she was going to be confrontational: "That is what I...

If you ever think your life is sad, just remember that it could be worse: You could be on "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew."
VH1 announced its full cast for the show's fourth season, and the cast includes a whole bunch of people whose lives suck more than yours does.
First of all, we've got "Laguna Beach's" Jason Wahler, Lauren Conrad's ex-boyfriend who made her skip a trip to Paris on "The Hills." After she dumped him, he was arrested seven times.
We're going to assume that Janice Dickinson is being admitted for an insatiable addiction to reality television, since she's been on "America's Next Top Model," "The Surreal Life," three seasons of "I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here," and her failed "The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency."

The first Tiger Woods mistress to come to light -- Rachel Uchitel -- is now making headlines for more than just her alleged affair with the world champion golfer.
Her hot lips, long hair and lean body practically scream Playboy spread. No surprise there are rumors she's going to do one even if her attorney, Gloria Allred, denies that her client is considering it.
And, it turns out that Rachel is very good friends with another full-lipped, press-savvy, brunette beauty, Janice Dickinson.
Janice is known to most of us as the always outspoken former supermodel-turned-reality-show-contestant. If you didn't catch her on "America's Next Top Model," "The Surreal Life" or "The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency" you may have caught her work on "I'm a Celebrity! Get me out of Here?"
How did we find this out? Because Lisa Bloom, La-based CNN and CBS legal analyst Tweeted:

Shoreline Entertainment has recently signed three films by notorious low budget filmmaker Creep Creepersin, just in time for Afm.
First up is Orgy of Blood, an erotic vampire film starring Domiziano Arcangeli, who is also executive producer. The film, also starring Chandler Maness ("Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency"), Randal Malone (Curse of Lizzie Borden), Jeff Dylan Graham (Psychosomatika), and a slew of horror genre favorites, wrapped in May. Orgy of Blood was written and directed by Creep Creepersin and produced by Aine Leicht and Nikki Wall.
Shoreline also snapped up two more Creepersin films for release as a Grindhouse-style double feature: The Creep Creepersin Double Featuresin. Comprised of Vaginal Holocaust and Caged Lesbos a-Go-Go, the double feature is a heavy throwback to 60’s and 70’s exploitation films.

Janice Dickinson recalls her time as a judge on Tyra Banks' "America's Next Top Model," prior to being let go for "personal reasons." "Tyra hires people, uses them and then boots them out and hires the next person. I guess for a nominal fee," the former supermodel tells "The Insider." Regardless, Janice says Tyra is great. "Damn right, I'm jealous. Of course, everybody is jealous of the great Tyra. She's Tyra." When asked if she would return to the judges' table of "Antm," the outspoken reality TV star responds, "In a heartbeat. I would love to get it on with Tyra." Janice has her own show on Oxygen called "The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency" and appeared on NBC's "I'm a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here," while "Antm" premiered this week.

Wednesday night’s “I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here” was the first Speidi-less episode, and sadly, the magic was missing. Without the MTV stars hogging the spotlight, Janice Dickinson stepped up as the attention whore, and her shenanigans weren’t anything I hadn’t already seen on “America’s Next Top Model” or “The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency.” Over it. Plus, you know producers are desperate when they devote 20-plus minutes to a John Salley/ Janice Dickinson argument about whether she spilled water in his boot. No, thank you. (Not to mention that John’s subsequent meltdown/apology after calling Janice a filthy word was just plain depressing.)
The show wasn’t a complete wash, however. Aside from Speidi’s bizarre return (more on that later), I must admit that I’m still delighted by watching “celebrities” forced to degrade themselves on television. The food challenge involved...

Janice Dickinson, who is known in America for her no-holds-barred style on "America's Next Top Model" and "The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency," took to Finland for her latest alcohol-laden, expletive-filled appearance.
For "Finland's Next Top Model," Dickinson was flown overseas to judge a portion of the competition. After a few glasses of wine at the model's house, Dickinson's speech started to slur and later slipped down a flight of stairs.
In the clip, aired in Europe but now available for viewing on YouTube, Dickinson complains about her leg "not working" and then proceeds to call the models "stupid" and "f---ing dumb." "Do something, you stupid models! Call a f---ing ambulance! You're so stupid," she says.
"All you do is pose. You're all so f---ing dumb," she continues.

While the number of gay/bisexual characters on scripted television has, at best, held steady over the past decade (and doesn’t exactly represent the diversity of gay men in the real world), it’s a different story when it comes to the depiction of gay men on reality television. Indeed, along with the explosion of reality programming has come a dramatic increase in the numbers and types of gay and bisexual men appearing on our television screens.
From the groundbreaking appearance of Pedro Zamora on The Real World: San Francisco to the current seasons of The Amazing Race, Survivor: Tocantins, and Make Me a Supermodel, there is a breadth of gay men that is quite frankly astounding.

Have a question about gay male entertainment? Ask the Monkey! (Please include your city and state and/or country)
Q: I've been feeling Lost a lot lately, mostly because I'm completely enamored with one of their new characters, Daniel Faraday, played by a very unique actor, Jeremy Davies. Can you tell me anything gay about Jeremy Davies? Anything at all? - Lindsey, New York
A: Hmmm, well, I can tell you that Davies, who first made a splash in the terrific indie hit Spanking the Monkey (1994), has made a name for himself playing nervous losers and misfits, in movies such as Secretary (2002), Solaris (2002), The Locusts (1997), and Saving Private Ryan (1998). Some of these characters could, in a certain light, from a certain angle, by certain people, be read as “maybe, possibly gay.”
Davies also played a drama student in HBO’s TV production of The Laramie Project, about the murder of Matthew Shepard,...

Bravo's newest reality venture, The Fashion Show, will pit a gaggle of plucky, aspiring fashion designers against one another as they strive to make it big in the world of fashion and secure mass market retail distribution for their designs.
In other words, it's not at all like Project Runway.
Not much is known about the show yet (will a Teutonic beauty named Schmeidi Schlum be hosting?) but one interesting detail has emerged: the casting team is leaving one competition spot up to the judging public. And one of the finalists up for evaluation is a gay that we know rather ... uh ... "intimately".
Yes, gay underwear designer and Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency day-player Andrew Christian is one of the finalists for the last spot on the show. If Andrew's junk-hugging designs have been a source of comfort and support for you, it may be time to repay the favor.

In modern reality television’s 16 years on cable and eight years on network, the genre has given television more (and often better) gay portrayals than scripted programming. Whether part of competitions in artificial contexts or fly-on-the-wall footage of real people's lives, reality TV has offered moments so unexpected that viewers might not have believed them if they occurred on a drama or sitcom.
With the fall television season now underway and reality shows bound to create more such moments – Dancing with the Stars has Lance Bass and Survivor has a gay contestant once again, among others – now's a good time to look back at some of the more memorable moments, ranging from progressive portrayals to cringe-inducing scenes.
