Machiavellian Wife
claudio_carvalho29 October 2007
On the day of the California Presidential Primary, between 9:00 PM and 10:00 AM, Jack proposes his trade for Alexis, and Victor and Andre contact Mason, who claims that does not have authority to negotiate. Chappelle considers Jack expendable and leaves him on his own. However Nina calls David Palmer and the senator presses the ambitious Mason, promising a position in Washington after the election. Mason swaps Alexis, but Drazen's men find the tracker. Pattty flirts with David Palmer during the celebration and following orders of Sherry. Teri does not know that Kim has been recaptured by Drazen's men.

The twentieth second episode of "24" shows how Machiavellian Sherry is. Further, Victor is really a mean and cold criminal. In the agency, Chappelle and Mason are hypocrite and ambitious politicians. My vote is nine.

"What do you want me to do?"
MaxBorg8912 January 2008
Day 1, 9:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. : still held hostage by the Drazens, Jack Bauer is used as a bargaining chip to get Alexis Drazen out of custody; back at CTU, no one knows what do to regarding him or his daughter, who has been recaptured by Drazen's men; and Senator Palmer flirts with one of his staffers while celebrating his success, not knowing it's all a scheme organized by Sherry.

As the day comes closer to its end, tension rises as events start to lead to a no-doubt shocking finale. Don't let the apparent happiness at Palmer's party be deceiving: the situation couldn't become much bleaker. Jack at the mercy of terrorists is bad enough, but the real surprise comes from seeing an already established villain and an unreliable character show exactly how far they are willing to go: Victor Drazen, played with top-class coldness by Dennis Hopper, doesn't hesitate to shoot a friend in order to prove his newfound superiority, while Sherry is depicted at her most Machiavellian, any sign of scruples gone in the name of power. Godard once said: "All you need to make a movie is a girl and a gun.". That is not necessarily true (it depends on the girl/woman and the guy holding the gun), but in this case (an we're talking about a TV episode) it works beautifully.

Tick, tock...

Hostage Exchange
Hitchcoc4 October 2018
Because Alexis is still alive, Jack lives to fight another day. There are so many bodies scattered all over the countryside. Drazen arranges an exchange, Alexis for Jack. The kicker is that the bad guys have Kim (again). Meanwhile, Sherry is manipulating her situation (she is pure evil), by getting that staffer to cozy up to Palmer. This is the boring part of the show. Things end on a high note with but two episodes to go.
