Pegged as the show's worst episode, but I disagree

Warning: Spoilers
"Morocco" is the show's second away-from-home adventure. Patsy has arranged for Eddy's novelty eyewear, Pop Specs, to be featured in a photo shoot which is to take place in Morocco. Saffy joins her mother and Patsy, but her interest is to study the people and culture of this Northern African country. The trio stay with Humphrey (John Wells), who is an old friend living in Morocco. Tales from the past soon reveal Patsy had once gone to Morocco for a sex change operation! We learn Patsy had become a man for about a year until "it fell off." The photo shoot equipment has been misplaced, so Eddy, Patsy, and Saffy spend their time by the pool, and do some shopping in the main plaza. Patsy sells Saffy to a white slave trader somewhere along the way. Patsy and Edina then go to a designated meeting place once the equipment arrives, but no one else shows up for the photo shoot. The two end up stranded in the Moroccan countryside. Eventually they find their way back to the city, and have a chance encounter with Saffy. Saffy is then reunited with the duo (much to Patsy's dismay), and they return to Humphrey's. It is hinted Saffy has had an erotic escapade with Humphrey's houseboy (listed in the show's credits as Haroon Hanif. Listed on IMDb as Harroun Hanif) at the end of the episode. Bubble is in this episode, but Mrs. M. is absent. Some people think "Morocco" is one of the worst episodes. I disagree.

Great fish out water comedy

Edina, Patsy and Saffy go to Marrakesh.

This is another funny Brits abroad comedy with Patsy and Edina on top form.

The plot is similar to the fish out of water style of the France episode, but this time it's not just another country but a total culture clash. A pair of women who represent the very worst aspects of the liberal West, fumbling their way through a country that is 99% Islam is naturally a hilarious concept.

As ever the dialogue and outrageous behaviour is excellent with poor Saffy caught up with it all.

Jennifer Saunders, Joanna Lumley and Julia Swahala all give great performances.

Warning: Spoilers
Anyone claiming racism has never met the protagonists, they hate everyone. This is a great episode, all the best Saunders Ab Fab features, criticism of consumer culture, fashion, slapstick, cultural appropriation, pop culture, character interaction. And really no overlap with France. Love that Saffy had fun while Pats & Eddie were passed out for 3 days. And not with Humphrey!

Action, Light, camera!!! Classic episode.

Eddie and Patsy head off on a trip to Marrakech to promote pop specs, with Saffy in toe.

Marrakech has always, been, and will forever be one of my favourite episodes, it is side splitting from start.

Eddie and Patsy are on their best form, selfish, callous, somewhat delusional, but side splittingly funny, it made a nice change to see the pair attempt to do a little work.

The one liners are exquisite, but the best bits surely have to be Patsy's previous experiences in Morocco, and that scene with Bubble and The Mouse. I love the way that Saffy gets the last laugh having been treated so badly.

Glorious location work throughout, it's not just another episode abroad, it is world's apart from France, but equally as funny.

John Wells is a scream as Humphrey.

Wonderful, 10/10.

Not horrible, but not great.

It has all the usual stuff of an AbFab episode. The girls act horribly toward each other and everyone they meet, they crap all over Saffron. They suffer due to their own ignorance. Its a little entertaining. I think the real problem here is the rampant racism they spew, none of which was funny not even in 1994. Yes, they are supposed to be unpleasant women but the writers push it a bit far in this episode. Even though the series doesn't have many episodes, this one can still be safely skipped by the casual fan. The scenes in Morocco are not particularly beautiful and its really not a good cultural experience.
