  [Sydney's cell phone rings and she answers it] 

  Dr. Gonzalo Burris : [Over the phone]  Draw me a map, how far it reaches.

  [Sydney hangs up on him and throws her phone into the ocean] 

  Sydney Bristow : They're pushing me closer.

  Michael Vaughn : What do they want?

  Sydney Bristow : I don't know; something about a map.

  Michael Vaughn : A map?

  [Sydney's phone rings again and she answers] 

  Dr. Gonzalo Burris : Listen to me; draw me a map, how far it reaches.

  [Sydney hangs up on him and throws her phone into the ocean again] 

  Michael Vaughn : You just threw your phone into the pacific, twice.

• Michael Vaughn : Listen to me, you have got to let me go.

  Sydney Bristow : I can't.

  Michael Vaughn : You have to.

  Sydney Bristow : I can't Vaughn. I can't stand it, being here without you...

  Sydney Bristow : I feel like I'm losing my mind, I do. I don't know who I am anymore. What I'm doing or why I'm doing it.

  Michael Vaughn : Okay stop, do you remember the last time we were here? Your contact had just been killed in Morocco, and you... your world was collapsing around you. And I told you that even in the middle of all this darkness, you cannot allow it to swallow you.

  Sydney Bristow : You gave me strength.

  Michael Vaughn : Yeah, but the truth is, the truth has always been you are the one who has kept the darkness from overtaking me. You can do this; I know you can do this. I've seen you do this time and time again. I'm gonna go, and you're gonna take these guys down, okay.

  Sydney Bristow : [She picks up his cup and takes a deep breath]  I gave you this, and then you crashed. Vaughn I can't...

  Michael Vaughn : Syd... Shhh... Shhh they can hear us, come closer, you said it yourself, they are using me against you. The only way to defeat them, I need to go away.

  Sydney Bristow : [She starts crying]  I don't care, I don't want to say goodbye to you again.

  Michael Vaughn : I know... I know... It's okay... I need to go away. We'll find each other...

  [the scene cuts away from the hospital bed to their cell in North Korea] 

  Sydney Bristow : We always find each other.

• Sydney Bristow : I should go

  Michael Vaughn : No, I don't want to be without you.

  Sydney Bristow : I know; I miss you.

  Michael Vaughn : [He looks at her hand and it doesn't have the ring on it anymore]  Look!

  [He shows her the hand without the ring] 

  Michael Vaughn : Sydney Bristow; will you marry me?

  Sydney Bristow : I don't know what I'm supposed to say.

  Michael Vaughn : You're supposed to say yes.

  Sydney Bristow : Yes...

  [We now see her in her torture chair smiling] 

  Sydney Bristow : I wanna marry you.

• Sydney Bristow : Do you hear that?

  Michael Vaughn : I didn't hear anything.

  Sydney Bristow : I know... Its great isn't it?

  [They take hold of each other's hands] 

  Sydney Bristow : I wish we could stay here, like this, forever.

  Michael Vaughn : There's nothing I want more.

  [pauses] 

  Michael Vaughn : They're going to figure it out Syd, sooner or later; they're going to know you gave them the wrong name. And when they do, I can't be here. They'll keep using me against you. They won't stop until they get what they want. I have to go.

  Sydney Bristow : I know...

  Michael Vaughn : We'll find each other... We always find each other.

  [They kiss]
