"All in the Family" at its funniest - when Archie Bunker interacts with an African American
Entertainment-Buff15 August 2017
This episode of "All in the Family" is a prime example of this show at its funniest - when Archie interacts with an African American. He is called in the IRS for questions about his tax returns. While in the waiting room, a black man accidentally bumps into him, and Archie fusses at him. Then when Archie is called into the tax examiner's office, it is the same man he fussed at in the waiting room. Archie's look when he sees the tax examiner is priceless! As are the direction, writing, and performances. Don't miss this episode.

Archie and thinking a funny mix

The whole IRS visit is a classic. Archie should of known he'd be facing the taxman sooner or later with his extra income. Lucky he wasn't prosecuted for bribery. Edith with some great lines burying Archie deeper. Archie never seems to correctly think things through until it's too late.
